Wow, that's awesome! I'm really unsure whether I should grab KanColle Kai now while you can still get copies or not, because it seems like quite a difficult import title to play.

What's the top right game below Tachyon Project and above Gundam Breaker?

You should grab it while you can as copies are getting hard to find. (It flopped in Japan, and people are getting it for "kusoge" value.)

Maybe they can finally be done with their MeiQ stock. XD

Maybe for the collection, but they the sure hell ain't going to open it!

Ugh, so close to just pulling the trigger on the Semispheres variants from PA.

Decisions, decisions...

At 1000 copies each, this is gonna be one of the rarest physical Vita games. I'm really surprised PA is doing a B1G1 free deal on them. I say go for it and don't look back.
Fair enough.

Trigger pulled! :D

Plus, these mini-LEs are always pretty nice from PA, so why not. ^___^

I guess I'll also post one of my pickups from last month, so it was one of my bigger purchases in a long time.

Felt really good about that one when all the stuff arrived. :D

This weeks arrivals for my Vita collection:

Started with Rabi X Labi since its a puzzle platformer. And damn does the game pull 0 punches! Its bloody hard from the get go but actually gets easier once you figure out just how the game wants you to think. And the game gets way more fun when you get into that mindset. Tough yet fun. And its got 4 games on it, so plenty of content there to play.

i wish PQube didn't more or less bail on Vita exclusive tites, we probably could've got genki pirates and gun gun pixies

i think Valykrie Drive probably sold well, it was one of the few Vita titles i actualy saw in GAME that didn't contain Minecraft or LEGO in the name title

You don't want Gun Gun Pixies. I liked it a little bit, but I think aside from the graphics it's SHADE's worst Vita title. Well okay, maybe you do still want GGP. It would be a lot of work though, the story has like 6 different branches. =_=

Bullet Girls 2 on the other hand... That's a handheld TPS worth playing. It really improves all the mechanics from the first Bullet Girls and has way more story content. It was a fun platinum. Assuming of course the Jinmon stuff doesn't upset you to uh, banned discussion levels lol. But assuming you're okay with GGP, you should also be okay with BG fan-service stuff.

Spent the day playing Rabi X Laby today. Its fantastic, it genuinely gets better the more you play as the game basically teaches you nothing in terms of mechanics so the first 15 or so levels kicked my ass in places, but once you can get your head round the way your supposed to tackle levels it becomes an incredibly fun 2D puzzle/platformer. Later levels actually feel easier than earlier ones, either because I got used to the mechanics or the difficulty is all over the place (honestly I'd not be surprised if its a little of both). 100 levels as well so I got a lot of playtime out of it.
No idea if it was ever released (digitally) outside of Japan on the Vita though, I believe it got a 3DS release on the eShop though.

Plus the cart also includes 2 and 3 in the series and another game, so that's another 200+ levels at least to work through. Sounds like an import for me then. Easy enough to understand?

Technically yes, really easy to pick up and play. It'll just take a few goes to learn exactly what you can and can't do (mostly what you can do) as the game doesn't really have any tutorial levels to ease you into the game - the second game has a level really early on (its the 7th level or there abouts) and you have about 2 seconds to move each character before they die and you have to restart. Its pretty brutal to begin with. But when everything clicks you won't want to put it down.
Thankfully the game does have a replay mode for each level unlocked from the start so you can see how to clear the level, which is handy for those couple of levels that I really couldn't figure it out. Still, I tried to use the mode sparingly as to not ruin the challenge.

It's like a puzzle game with Rabites.

I'll probably have to try and secure me a copy soon since I quite enjoy puzzle games too.

Wow! Big purchase indeed! Re;birth 1 is probably one of, if not the, rarest Vita LE out there, and I've always regretted not getting the DJ Max Tecknika Tune LE, which is now far out of my price range. And so many other rare Vita game like Ar no Surge, Atelier Escha and Logy and Breach and Clear, not to mention some of those other LE are quite expensive by themselves.

Just fyi to all for Play-Asia's current sale.

There's a glitch in their sale system, so if you add Caveman Warriors into your cart, and then add the other PA exclusives, it'll just start zeroing them out one by one.

If anyone is interested, here's what it looks like,

Great chance to pick up Tachyon, Semipheres for cheap, as well as all the other PS4 stuff for cheap, albeit, I know this ain't a PS4 thread, but for those who are interested. ;D

Now to see if they'll fulfill, or cancel it in the end.

Last time this happened with the buy 2 for $25 Vita Asia titles, they still fulfilled the earlier orders.

Since this is newly discovered, I'd get in on it sooner rather than later.

Happy hunting all!

Out of all of the LEs in the NA, I have to say that Technika Tune LE is probably one of the most solid sets around.

The things they include are pretty neat, and there's a lot of swag that comes with it. And the box itself, so incredibly sturdy, and well designed.

I really wish some of the other LEs we got were of this quality, but alas, I don't think we'll ever get one like this again. :*(

I think my current favourite one is the Ys Celceta one. Artbook, map and fantastic 3-CD soundtrack (and a compass, I think?).

Though the one for Summon Night 6 will definitely top it once I get it. That one looks to be the best LE yet.

Customs would fuck me with a box that large, but thanks for the heads up!

The Ys set is definitely nice, but my main complaint is the box itself. Just a bit too mushy for me, and at times feel out of proportion for what's stuffed inside. The contents are neat though for sure.

Haven't seen the Summon Night 6 LE yet though, so I guess I can hold my judgement til then. ;D

It probably won't be all that large of a box since all of the LEs are basically just slight bigger than the regular size of the game case.

PA exclusive LEs are basically all like that, so they're not really all that bulky, and more snuggly put together if anything.

Oh, I see. Yeah, it was the regular flimsy cardboard. You might like Trails of Cold Steal LE then. Box was really sturdy, though no soundtrack, iirc.

Yeah, the Trails box is nice, but as you've mentioned, the contents were spread pretty thin.

I think each set have their plus and minuses, but overall, I just feel Technika was probably the most balanced out of all the ones I own.

But of course, still a couple of sets awaiting that could always change that.

Handheld Screenshot thread got me in a mood to revive my Vita!

Charging as we speak, I had quite a few games left to finish on there. A few PSP like GoW and PS1 titles too.

Anything people have been playing recently?, gonna browse the store and gawk at the vast titles out now I bet. I prefer action games.

Gonna stay away from titles that are heading to Switch, Ill save them there.

Action RPGs alright?

If so, you'd definitely want to check out Odin's Sphere.

If you want a bit more hackey slashey arcade style, then Dragon's Crown too, but you may have already played that depending on when exactly it was when you quit. Muramasa fun as well.

If you want more mobile action games like Dynasty Warriors style, of course, Dynasty Warrior games, and then there's also One Piece games (not sure if you're digital too.

Plenty of options.
Not sure that'll really appease his thirst for action, albeit, totally a game I'd get when LRG releases the physical version. ;D

I don't much like playing Action games on Vita. The whole reason I got a PS TV in the first place was to play the action games there with a DS4 instead. I do wanna get another handheld Vita (the Neon Orange one) so I'll have to figure out which I wanna deactivate I guess since you can only have two Vita's per account.

Those are some amazing buys squarehard and shadowman16!
Thanks :) Had another couple of games arrive today including Summon Night 6. Hoping that the rest of my last batch of orders arrive within the next week or two though I've already got my eye on a few more.

Also, really liking the slimmer Vita. I usually just use my OLED one but I ended up using my Vita Slim for my Rabi X Laby playthrough and I'd forgotten just how much more pleasant it is in my hands. I still love the OLED screen mind you, but the Slim is a great upgrade. Really need to use it more from now on...

I use my slim way more often than my oled.
The OLED holds a 8 GB memory card with all of my smaller games and roguelikes, I can pick it up whenever. The Slim is for longer play sessions basically and has the mighty 64 GB card.
Overall the Slim is the better handheld imho, if it only had L2 and R2 buttons :(

But for Odin Sphere I just have to use the oled due to the colors!

It's just kinda a hassle to keep both charged, especially the oled has the problem where it seems to be dead until it's charged for 30~ minutes.

How does Salt and Sanctuary run on Vita? Got it on PS4 a while back when it was on sale but I haven't put much time into it. I know it's not cross save despite being cross buy, but as long as it runs well enough I think I'd rather put time into it on a portable device than a console.

I'll stick with my PS4 Edition, but I've heard the Vita version looks great. (For a Vita game.) Has sound issues though? Somebody in the OT mentioned that.

That's them trying to be polite about the voice acting.
Yeah, I've also heard this is another throwback Vic Ireland translation project, which means, it was awful.

Feedback on the game itself seemed a bit meh too, but it certainly didn't help the case that the translations/dialogues were also fairly unpolished, and took away from it as well.

I'm still going to get it eventually, but probably not for awhile...that is unless it goes super cheap during BF. ;D

Nah, the translation is 6 is pretty subdued for an Ireland project. The only "whoah ZANY" dialogue is in a handful of the numerous optional side scenes.

US Amazon does have it for ~$31 right now which is a pretty nice discount. :)

Looking last night, I had a TON of PS+ titles, unfortunately they lapsed so I deleted them off. Vita is bit of a pain to see what titles you actually bought yourself. And I'm annoyed I can't take screens of PSP games....

I do have Dragons Crown! I should finish it here at least but course the allure of Dragons Crown Pro has me weak.
It looks like I managed to grab Soul Sacrifice Delta also, don't know why I never dled that.

Is PSTV still worth getting for novelty? I wonder if the hack is still available.

I see a lot of people raving about the Slim, I have a OLED 1000 and everyone says the Slim is an all around upgrade.

I think I've read somewhere that Digimon Hacker's Memory getting an Asian English version for Vita. Was that ever confirmed? I don't see a pre-order on Play-Asia?
