There are a bunch of different control methods on Switch. How does co-op work on switch?
is there a limit of joy con or pro controls that I can use?
And do both controls have the same function?
because I remember on the wii u there were a whole bunch
of different controls
My fiancée and I tried out the Snipperclips demo and really dug it. How long is the full game? Is it worth the $20?
And are there any other co-op games out there on the Switch? She really enjoys being able to work together in a game as opposed to competing against each other.

Thimbleweed park anygood on switch? or should i just get the pc version?
How is the d-pad in the pro controller? Is it really that bad, I don't seem to understand the issues with it.
I saw that the 8bitdo controllers work on the Switch, would that be a better alternative?
The c-buton d-pad alternative the left joycon was frankly the worst decision on the Switch, it was only done to use the two joycons as individual controllers but I doubt anyone will actually use them like that besides once or twice.
8bitdo controllers are a solid alternative with a great D-Pad. I've got the SNES30 pad and the FC30 Pro, and love them both. Obviously the SNES30 option is missing analogs and a second set of triggers, but it works great for games like Pokken and Puyo Puyo Tetris. How is the d-pad in the pro controller? Possible Nintendo direct leak:
First weekend of the month, 45 minutes long. The following games are currently slated to appear:
>Yoshi
>Kirby Star Allies
>Kirby Battle Royale (NA Direct only)
>No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again
>Yooka-Laylee
>Fire Emblem
>Fire Emblem Warriors
>Steep
>Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology
>Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux
>Dragon Quest 11 for 3DS and Switch
>Dragon Quest Builders 1+2
>Metroid Prime 4
>Mario Maker (switch/port)
>Kid Icarus (switch/new)
Additionally, Nintendo will be announcing a partnership with Devolver Digital to bring many of their titles to the Switch. The Japanese stream will also announce the localisation of several of their untranslated titles.
Beyond this the Switch's paid online scheme will be a major focus, along with the reveal of a new Game Pass/Origin Access style system for playing old Nintendo titles. You can subscribe to a specific system's titles, download, and play them freely so long as your subscription is active. It will launch in tandem with the paid online service and will feature NES and SNES titles only at the start, all from the Classic releases. Netplay will be enabled for specific games. There is no option to rent a game individually or permanently purchase any of them currently.
A system update for the Switch will also be coming in January.

There's also their new controllers, and I assume they're probably great as well. 8bitdo's stuff is really impressing me so far with build quality.
It sucks, how it passed Quality Control is beyond me.How is the d-pad in the pro controller? Is it really that bad, I don't seem to understand the issues with it.
Yes, but a leak posted at 4chan...
I honestly don't believe it mostly because there is no mention of Smash.
There are battery cases like you might get for an iphone and external batteries that charge via usb c. I kind of want to get the case since it has it's charging port on the side of the switch and doesn't protrude out the bottom like on the switch itself which causes it to poke me in the belly when playing on the couch. The switch cannot be docked with this case of course.Couple Switch questions
1) I thought I saw some battery replacements (or extenders?) out there for Nintendo Switch. Do you guys use any such thing? Is there a solid one out there? Back with my original 3DS, I got a nyko battery pack that gave it quite a bit more juice.
Does such a thing for switch exist? Now that power banks are a thing, would a power bank be a better alternative? Could you play and use a power bank at the same time? If power banks are good, which one is ideal for switch?
2) Concerning using controllers like 8bitdo. How are these registered in the Nintendo Switch? Does it recognize it as a pro controller, or a generic controller? Can I use such a controller and just start playing any game? If a game needs specific functions to a specific controller, will it say 'please plug in an appropriate controller' when booting up a game?
Thanks

This might be a stupid question but how do digital licenses work on Switch? Are they tied to account or console?
I have a Switch but getting one for my step son and on my current system any user can play games I've purchased.
If I login to my account on his system will it deauthorize games on my system?
Have you restarted your Switch? That generally fixes little hiccups like that.Got a download stuck on "paused" even if I delete and try to redownload...any ideas, Google has failed me so far.
Yep reboot and power off back on...Have you restarted your Switch? That generally fixes little hiccups like that.
If all your games have been downloaded to a micro SD (not the system), you can turn the console off, pop out the memory card, turn it back on in recovery mode (power button + volume up + volume down until it boots), and do a system restore without deleting save data (it should be an option there).

What should I continue and finish first? Im 1 hour into both BOTW and Kingdom Battle.
Anyone here have the Mayflash Magic-NS adapter? Worth it till I buy a Pro Controller later?
Would use it with my DS4.
I agree. I've been alternating between SMO, DBX2 and Doom and it doesn't deter from the individual experience of each.
Why don't you just buy it right now? The Pro Controller is perfect!

So I'm biting and getting a new Switch from Amazon and so far I have the screen protector in my cart. What else is a must have item for a 9 year old boy to have? What's a good carrying case?
This is all well and good, but ...a Direct on the weekend?Possible Nintendo direct leak:

That would depend precisely on what you'd like said carrying case to carry. Do you want the case to be able to just hold the system itself and a few game carts? Or...do you need the case to hold some accessories as well? Budget is also a key factor as well. I personally opted for the former and went with a somewhat barebones case, but one that was made of high quality materials (made by a higher-end, U.S.-based company in San Francisco). This one, to be precise

Thats a nice looking case. I had a case for my 3DS that was mostly leather (or faux leather), wouldn't mind something like that again for the Switch. That would depend precisely on what you'd like said carrying case to carry.
