There's a very good chance that Stars was a real project at that time that was later retooled into Let's Go, for what it's worth.
If this is real, it's incredible. Like seriously, takes expectations and blows them out of the fucking water. Instead of starting the game's hype cycle with a Brawl level mass reveal of 5 newcomers, they'd be ending on it.
Maybe it's like the Castlevania (ps4 exclusive) collection?
Details were ommited, plans changed or you got told things that weren't right?
I'm not saying you're wrong this time but people are right with the "this is wrong but I can't tell you why" being used by people in the know regarding this being a bummer.
It's common sense why you can't discuss everything you know about Smash, but can you at least tell us what do you know about without spoiling the actuak details?
ie: Can you tell us if you actually know what the final confirmed roster is (obviously without talking specifics)?? Now that would be helpful.

We can speculate on that, but all I know is that insiders and sites were adamant than the upgrade to S/M would be a single game and on Switch.
And then it turned out to be 2 games on the 3DS.
(Which was a real thing at one point that got turned into Pokemon Let's Go, which also got leaked)
I've been implicated in the whole Mario + Rabbids leak fest and believe me, it was something entirely different from any other kind of leak.
That said Star Fox GP is likely right because I don't think Eurogamer ever got anything wrong about the Switch.

I think Dixie Kong is more likely than this whole list but no ones mentioning her at all. Idk this also just seems like way too many characters for a game coming in a month and a half. Who would they even add for DLC at this point?

Btw this is a minor thing but a lot of people have been saying that one reason why it might be fake is because of the amount of characters, which is more than most of us (myself included) are/were expecting, but doesn't that just make it seem more real? I mean, it would have been both less work AND more believable to simply add 3 - 4 new characters instead of 7, if this was fake. Just a random thought
Is that because someone in the game is missing from this, or someone in this list is definitely not in the game?

The shading on the chorus kids seems carefully created. They're a light and dark grey as to blend better with the lighting of the other characters and not stand out by being pure white and black.

For the record though, I don't trust this leak either. I was just stating RH makes more sense for inclusion than W101 since the former was a successful series while the former (sadly) bombed hard.
I thought GoldenEye had legal issues well beyond Microsoft, like MGM, etc.
Now if they were to go to the trouble of releasing "A classic game" and calling it a new Perfect Dark game...
