Nice.
Where is this from? Surely it's some sort of mockumentary and not actual courtroom footage. The timing of the perp waiting for the camera to pan over is too perfect.
That's a really good point. They could totally do a similar thing here, and it'd be the perfect bridge.Hoping the Underminer stuff is prologue and there's some kind of time skip, like the intro for the first one.
I hope the same thing, but I think we wouldve gotten the post time-skip designs if that were the case. I think this one is going to revolve around the baby and someone looking to exploit his basically limitless powers.Character models lookin pretty good. Rewatched the original recently. Was def in the "before everything looked absolutely gorgeous" era of Pixar.

It maks me wonder if we will ever reach a point where we get remaster of movies with updated CG.Character models lookin pretty good. Rewatched the original recently. Was def in the "before everything looked absolutely gorgeous" era of Pixar.

I thinking more of like making Toy Story 1 look like Toy Story 3, not add stuff to it.
It looks better obviously, but I wish the suits had a little bit of that shine still...or not sure how to describe it.Man is this film gonna look gorgeous. I'm loving how much more pronounced the shape design is. We are almost to the point where the film on screen has the same type of energy that the concept art has.
Polyester-ish quality maybe? or perhaps Velvety? It looks better obviously, but I wish the suits had a little bit of that shine still...or not sure how to describe it.

Why does Helen look so different compared to the others? I feel like they updated her design but I can't put my finger on it.
EDIT: Might be the hair.
Well, in the comics that followed after the first movie, she became a spy for the organization that helps out The Incredibles I believe. I don't think she and Helen got along at first but then they became friends. What happened to Mirage? Did they really let her escape without any consequences?
He dead.
The artstyle is very simple, similar to popart. Overdetail would overall hurt the presentation.I feel like the odd one out because I thought that well, they would look...better? I dunno. I'm not impressed.
Not really the best shot, this movie better be fucking incredible or else I can never forgive Brad Bird for Tomorrowland and killing TRON.
MOD EDIT: The fawning over Elastigirl's physical attributes is embarrassing and contributes nothing to the discussion. If it continues there will be bans. It shouldn't be this hard to find other things to discuss about this reveal.
They've said the movie begins seconds after the first, or something like that.it looks like the characters haven't gotten older for the sequel?
the fact that that mod edit actually had to be written... jesus christ some of you guys are thirsty
anyway, i'm not quite sure whether i'm a massive fan of the design changes to the whole family but i'm sure it'll look better in motion. brad bird definitely knows how to direct good animation.
and whilst some of the original has aged (it looks like it was before they properly nailed skin so some faces, especially those of one-off extras, can look a little off, whilst the jungle scenes don't look anywhere near as good as i remembered it) i'm of the opinion that it holds up better than some posts in here seem to sugggest. the animation pixar pulled off back in 2004 still looks better than what a lot of other studios were pumping out years later whilst the great art style and bird's direction help create some pretty gorgeous scenes.
