Second squad win today, (only captures the second as screenshot) both with several down shots and 3 kills, now I'm in and aiming finally feels great, what a game, finally runs fantastic with almost locked 30fps. No Idea what they did from server side but it did wonders.
Hiding might be a viable tactic on the PC version but there's no reason to not run around like a headless chicken here. If you're moving even just an inch, chances are most people aren't going to be able to hit you.
Woot and we just got 1st Duo Chicken dinner, 9 kills (6 of them road pizza) for me 4 for my bro!
1st solo and 1st team chicken dinners in 2 consecutive games. Hot dam I am on fire lol
Great screen shots. I know there are some in other threads that try to make the game seem like it looks like they used the shittiest N64 textures for it but in a lot of my play time it has looked really great.
Definitely looks like a very good N64 game or a poor PS1 game! Great shots again! Wish I had time to play today, but will jump in again tomorrow. Sea of Thieves has me in it's grasps right now. :)

I have had one hard crash and 3 lag crashes, all of which come at the worst possible times.
Seems to be quite a bit of driving around in circles in the top 10 on xbox from the games I've played ....much harder to hit moving targets in a car with a controller and you factor in some of the lag that sometimes happens...if you did that on pc you're dead straight away.
Also looking forward to having the desert map land as it turns these prone fest encounters into actual gunfights as you can't hide in sand.

I had a crash earlier today that was tense as hell.
Was in Duos, down to the final 10 players and i jumped out of a vehicle and the game went black before going to dashboard. My friend said i was still in the open and was trying his best to distract a couple of guys heading our way by firing at them and running away from me in hope they'd give chase.
i got back in the game just as i my friend was being killed and i survived until the final 3.
PubG def gives me a Socom vibe. I think i might hook up the PS2 and pop in Socom 3. I used to play that online a ton
Yeah I was top 5 hidden and some guy just driving in circles took two of us out. Good tactic but quite common I expect a patch soon my friend.
Are you on an X? I feel like because I have an OG it crashes so much. It even crashed twice in one game before.
I have an X and an OG Xb1 and I've never had it crash on my X. I get a few games late at night before bed in my bedroom on my OG and it's crashed on me like 4 times while I've yet to have it crash on my X. I've also I've noticed that I get into the loading area before jumping out of the plane way faster on the X. It's definitely rough on the OG, but I still have a tons of fun no matter what. I'm working my way to my first chicken dinner got 13th solo today and me and my friend have been consistently getting top 5 and 10 finishes in duos...
Oh man one of my friends that had no idea what PUBG was played for almost the whole day today. He kept saying how he doesn't want to go back to COD lol. We've already had some amazing crazy moments, which leads to my next question.
Does disabling capture indeed increase performance? I would love to take screenshots/videos while playing, but I'm not certain.

Oh man this game.
I keep dying and get mad for a second.. Then jump right back in. Most of the deaths don't feel cheap.. Everyone is dealing with the same issues.
Aim for at least top 50 every time.. If I get to top 20 I'm mad if I don't make top 10.. Got a tasty Chicken Dinner twice!

Just had the most intense match ever. I narrowly escaped death when I was looting a house so far out away from the circle that nobody should've been there.. I seriously had like no health, fucking zigzaging dodging this guys bullets like I'm Neo and then I duck around a corner and praise buddha, there's a vehicle. I hop in and floor it with bullets pinging off and around my vehicle literally until I'm out of his sight as I head to the other side of the map, see a hill that looks empty and go up there.
Absolutely nothing to loot nearby for health so I just sit there chilling and don't you know it, the circle gets smaller and smaller until it's literally right on top of this tiny stupid hill I decided to go up. 27 people descending upon my location now, by the time they get there it's 17. The dumbest of luck helps me kill the first guy who gets there who decides to sit in his jeep with the engine running. Steal all of his health, get patched up, I tooth and claw my way to 6 more kills end up at second place; I have no idea if that guy even saw me or just took a guess shot.

I also get mad af when I get killed. Maybe I even turn off the game. Then 30 seconds later I'm searching for a new match. It's really addictive. I'm satisfied with my results so far tbh, 7 and a half hours in I've got two chicken dinners, two second places and another top 10 finish. Ironically however I never got more than 3 kills in a match, but that is down to my very conservative playstyle.

Great shots! The game looks way better than people give it credit for. It just needs a bump in stability is all. And maybe a smidgen if auto aim for noobs like me.
Is there any way to know where the first circle will appear?
I'm spending half of the games chasing all over the island to even get to the first circle - not making it even sprinting the whole time.

no way to know, but it will give u 5mins to move to the circle, i always press the select button to whenever i get the 5mins message

i'm on OG as well (not even an one S, old xbox one) and the game havent crashed once
slowdowns and stutters sure but no crashes
but seeing reactions online i'm just lucky as hell
Oh. Yes. Of course. But half of the time I'm too far away to have a shot at making it there.
Dont land on the coast. Try to land near the middle but not in a large clump of houses or a city. If you find you are far away from the circle, walk the paved main roads, cars and buggys are parked along the roads.
Despite all the problems since it's still under development, the game is so much fun!

That's what I've heard people say although I personally cannot confirm.
Got to 4th earlier in duo with my brother, highest we got all weekend, probably could have won it if I didn't fuck up my Molotov throw and burn us both to death. We had a good laugh at that.
