I have. It takes some getting used to and a bit of experimentation, so I recommend doing that before committing to painting a full watercolor piece. Best to work in layers with watercolors, too. Do light base layers, let them dry, then build up your elements.Anyone dabble in water color? Thinking about getting into that as a new hobby. (I'm a sucker for Bob Ross)

People doing lovely art with lovely lines in this thread!
Started a new one, trying to do a cute skeleton guy, not figured out how I'm gonna do the body yet. Probably another one for the back burner for a while.
Long story short I recently discovered this 10 Minutes Video Series by Marco Bucci that really opened my eyes.
started three new ones today, still early stages.. still loving all the art you all are doing'!
Havent popped in here in a while! Amazing work luffie Raging Spaniard DM_Uselink Really like seeing yalls work
Here is something recent. I do comics about my married life everyonce in a while. Hope yall enjoy
Graefellsom I like your stuff so much! It's like the dream I'll have before I wake up and realize I've metamorphosed into a bug or little animal. The insect collective unconscious haha. I hope you keep making lots and lots! They are really pretty and really neat.
I am wondering if you unbackBurnered the cute skeleton guy yet
yum yum yum.
I wonder what guides you toward these images. do you see things in the world that you want to mix together? Are you a nature lover? Do you live in the desert?

Here's the sketch.
Thank you! Really nice environment on that first page! Its a bummer that resizing gave you some jaggies on those ink lines
Any Captain Tsubasa fans here?
You should check out the work of Ian Francis if you haven't already :)
Abstract I made for a work related white elephant party. Not what I intended to make, and incomplete but it was nice having a deadline that forced me to just let it go.
Not the best pic of it. Not sure if it comes through but it's many many transparent layers. So it was quite neat in person.
By no means an experienced painter, but I ended up feeling quite proud.
I have a 36x96 canvas I'm preparing to recreate essentially the same motif, but just larger and panoramic.
Oh yeah: 24x30. Mostly Golden acrylic. A bit of sennelier in there but I guess I'm a golden fanboy.
This is awesome. Cap Tsubasa was big when I was a kid before Saint Seiya blew up.Thank you! Really nice environment on that first page! Its a bummer that resizing gave you some jaggies on those ink lines

haha I was super into the anime when I was a kid. If I vaguely remember, one of the antagonists scores a goal by jumping off the top of the goal post when everyone had forgotten about him. That and the animation when a character would split two defenders was always the same. I remember watching it thinking the refs were missing clear fouls.Nice, in Mexico he is Steve Hyuga. Super Campeones and Winning Eleven is what got me into watching Futbol. "Tiro del Tigre!"

Anyway, shout outs to Raging Spaniard for making this thread. I hope you're doing well.
I had the privilege of meeting him in real life. A down to Earth, charming fellow and a HELLUVA artist. Truly a master of color and conveying motion. Seeing his work in person was a treat.
Sorry, I meant to reply to you earlier but I've been ill the past week and still am a bit. The meds have turned my brain to mush. Dying to get back into the print room.
Awesome! I hope they all get pubbed soon! I liked your pictures and I Thought your pencil portrait was really beautiful.I am most skilled at writing (prose) honestly, but I can't post my short stories here as they are out for publication
