Just double checked and it says $54.72 for "DHL Express 2", which was the more expensive option. I can't remember how the payment went though, did it ask whether we wanted to pay in dollars or pounds or could it simply be because of differences in the exchange rates when we ordered?

Exchange rate, that's it, I went for the most expensive option, so it must be I guess.

Let's say it will be possible to run Amiga FPGA core on this, would there be a way to connect a mouse and keyboard?

Edit: Mouse found :)

It's hard to say for sure but I haven't seen any evidence to support this and I don't think it would really make sense for them to just drop it completely. Interest in a dedicated NES fpga solution is not going away and they've already incurred all the engineering costs to build one. My guess is that they're going to release a lower cost version that's plastic with only an hdmi output for around the cost of the Super Nt. If they were to release the NES core on the Super Nt it would significantly cannibalize the sales of this new system. For this same reason I don't believe they'll ever release a Genesis core for the Super Nt, because that's almost certainly a system they'll release in the future. But hey, I'd love to be wrong here!
Yeah, I know they said they wouldn't but who knows.

I'd also wondered whether they would perhaps be able to sell cores to people but I have no idea if they'd have any way to somehow lock a core to a particular console.

I paid more...I want blast processing in my SNES then!!! :)

It really depends on the memory configuration but I don't think the Amiga core would work on it (Or the ST one and the PC one). While this board is an unknown, on a DN10-Nano board you need an SDRAM daughter board in order to run any 16bit computer on it because the provided DDR3 ram doesn't work for Amiga usage.

I actually have more hopes to see the Super NT SNES core adapted to the MiSTer than the other way round. Of course I'm merely speculating so I could be completely wrong.

The Super Nt core will never be ported to the MiSTer. It's closed source, and will never be open sourced, unfortunately.

I don't need SNES on the MiSTer, I already have the Super NT ordered.

I merely said you have more chances of seeing SNES on MiSTer than Amiga on SuperNT

I wouldn't be so sure. Kevin has expressed interest in porting classic computers to the Nt Mini, such as the Atari 400/800. Amiga might not be that unlikely, even if I don't see it happening.

Atari 400/800 xl, c64, zx spectrum or cpc should be fine. It's for Amiga and ST that problems will arise (if I understand the limitations right)

John Linneman posted his transparent Super NT. Honestly, it doesn't look too impressive; kind of cloudy white. Glad I went with black now.

I'm really glad I went for the global SNES/Famicom colour scheme although I would have been OK with any of them except that one, the photo makes it look worse to me although John Linneman thinks it looks much better in person.

Looking forward to their review, maybe there will be a DF Retro this weekend about it although I think next weekend is probably more likely.

I really hope that they release the support for all the 8-bit systems on here, and I also hope that they do another run of the Nt Mini, because I want the black one to play famicom carts so badly.

Why a review embargo, do they expect people to mass cancel pre-orders?

A review embargo is to level the playing field for reviewers. Making sure it's more even and fair, it will mean more coverage which in turn means better exposure and then better exposure leads to more sales.

Should Analogue make an FPGA PC Engine do you see them including a CD-Drive? My guess would be it comes with just a Hu-Card slot but isos would then be supported after jailbreak.

I picked up black but do admit that the SFC colour combo look beautiful. The see through looks nothing like it does in the render.

The guys with supreme taste, went with black! Never understood the fascination with clear consoles, always look cheap.
I didn't specifically choose this one but I genuinely think it looks awesome in person. Much better than expected and I typically dislike clear consoles. The SFC combo is probably my favorite design, though.

I was going black originally but I switched to SFC because I'll mostly be using SFC carts and I wanted the system to complement the physical game well. The picture of Chrono Trigger in the black console made me second guess myself because it looked fantastic, but I think between the two you can't go wrong. I wish we could see some pics of the SNES colors though, I'm curious how they turned out.

Zero regrets about getting the SFC one, aside from the fact that it doesn't match my US SNES Classic and original SNES. Absolutely love how the color scheme works with the design.

I wouldn't be surprised if the translucent one looks better depending on the angle, but it's really nothing like the mockup on the site was. The cloudy matte effect looks far heavier here, and the black internal components don't really pop. Despite my nostalgia towards the style, it really isn't impressing me.

Black actually looks much better than I expected it to. I anticipated it being a bit more dull, but the contrast between the cartridge and the power light looks so good.

Seeing the real black and real transparent units, I'm glad I didn't go with either one of them. Something about them seems cheap and lacking in character.

I am still waiting for my Super Everdrive, In fact I did ask for a black one as it would look perfect with my black Super NT. I hope I get that.

Jealous of you guys. I want one since the SNES is my favorite console of all time but I have a Retron5 and I like the ability to play NES and Game Boy line games easily on my TV too.

I'm hoping Analogue will make a system that combines NES, SNES, and Game Boy. I would pay good money for it. The NT consoles are high quality.

Those photos make me realize how nice translucent would be if one were to put some sort of custom lighting in it. It disperses across the system nicely.

Anxiously waiting on mine. I got the SFC color + the American SN 8bitdo wireless controllers, because the US convex and concave button combo is tops.

My 8bitdo solution was buying their receiver off eBay for 15 bucks and pairing it with the Wii U Pro controller.

Heaven.

The original Bluetooth SFC30 / SNES30
controllers should work if used with the Bluetooth Retro Receiver. If you have one of these, just get the Bluetooth Retro Receiver and you are good to go.

The oddities are the 2.4GHz Controller and Retro Receiver (designed for the NES/SNES Classic Mini).

8bitdo seem to have caused some confusion by replacing the original Bluetooth controllers as shown above with new Bluetooth controllers with the same design and very similar model numbers as the 2.4GHz controllers.

SFC30 / SNES30 (pictured above, now discontinued) are Bluetooth. They will work with the Super NT with a separately purchased Bluetooth Retro Receiver (with SNES style connector).

SF30 Pro / SN30 Pro (with analog sticks) are Bluetooth and will also work with the Super NT with a separately purchased Bluetooth Retro Receiver (with SNES style connector).

SF30 2.4G / SN30 2.4G will work only with the 2.4GHz Retro Receiver (with the Wii Remote style connector) for use only with the NES/SNES Classic Mini.

SF30 Retro Set / SN30 Retro Set are the new Bluetooth controllers. They look like the 2.4G controllers but have an included Bluetooth Retro Receiver (with SNES style connector).

Being on a retro trip right now makes it really hard to pass on this, even with 50$ shipping to EU. Pretty sure I can't hold out until it releases. Especially because I wanted to pull the trigger on a Framemeister/OSSC since forever but buying a US SNES (only have a SFC right now) and having to set up 2 consoles and another device (Framemeister) for a nice looking output just seems like a pain in the ass. A lot of cables and devices laying around. This just seems like a perfect solution. Small, lag free, and simple to use.

I gave up on my Framemeister setup for this and other systems that may come out in the future.

Ugh, to make things worse, they make a Retro Receiver for the SNES Classic that is Bluetooth based.

I'm pretty pissed that they would do something like this. Like why the one off when they make a perfectly compatible Bluetooth path? I feel ripped off.

Analogue did respond to that Twitter comment if you look further down:

"these are heavily processed gifs for fun and should not be taken whatsoever as Super Nt's output quality/accuracy."
