Ikr.
Yeah, not sure what we'll do about that.
Hence the theme of this thread. There was no way I was letting that marvel go gentle into that good night.I mean, this all happened JUST before Zoo got cancelled. All that build-up and then... leaves in the wind.
We'll see!I do hope Ivysaur returns to talk about Star Trek Discovery (Disco).
We'll see!
Like I said earlier the Star Trek OT will return just as glorious as ever. (so don't anyone dare go make their own version

It gets worse.God dammit at the Good Doctor. Anyone on here watching it? Does it get better or does it remain as blandly saccharine as the pilot?
So what I'm thinking is that we can use the What are you watching Fall 2017 thread (coming soon!) to discuss small shows until the Reset userbase is sufficiently large enough to sustain separate discussion threads for smaller shows.
Big shows like The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, Star Trek, etc. definitely warrant their own threads imo.
Thoughts?
I have to admit I kind of liked that. It would make me crack up when there was a thread that would be like *ratsky post* *dead souls post* a week goes by *ratsky post* *dead souls post*I mean I feel like a lot of the smaller show conversations generally trickled down to 3-5 people going back and forth anyway or the "hey I just started watching this show now" fly-bys so probably find to maintain more of a megathread feel.

Yes. Or at least a greater use of the Fall TV thread, talking about the cool shows you'd watched. Like how you (provided you live in the US) went to Sundance Now and streamed The Bureau (Le Bureau des Légendes), and for free at that (at least the first season is, last time I checked). Write about things like that when Ratsky gets done with the fall thread. So what I'm thinking is that we can use the What are you watching Fall 2017 thread (coming soon!) to discuss small shows until the Reset userbase is sufficiently large enough to sustain separate discussion threads for smaller shows.

We're supposed to want shows to get good ratings now? New fourm and all but this leopard can't change his spots.
Sounds like you should jump on that plump opportunity then. Then we can post about it on the "2017/2018 Thread Cancellation" thread. You know a thread we really need? A "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" thread, I mean it's popular and all. And the new season is all fresh.
TV Cancellation threads really make this forum feel like home.

Why can't the title be changed?I'll miss title changes though. I mean, this all happened JUST before Zoo got cancelled. All that build-up and then... leaves in the wind
And that's all I have to say about that.
I do hope Ivysaur returns to talk about Star Trek Discovery (Disco).
The first episode wasn't great but the last two felt pretty fun. Not quite sure I like this Arrow S1 (The List) approach for the new metas but then again, it's basically the same as before, they are just more upfront about it. Could probably do without the pregnancy though...Seems The Flash did solid, but I'm already behind with two episodes as that pilot definitely bored me and was more of what I didn't wanna see. I might actually drop all of the DC shows on CW and binge them next Summer, kind of what I did when I was halfway through last seasons' seasons.
Good to hear. This season has been great so far.
So Stump won't be joining the new site? That's a shame.Yeah, Stump was the one who picked the topic titles and updated the header so like, unless someone here takes that on, that aspect will likely be left behind. :/
Yeah a bit weird that it's in "Hangouts" instead of the main etc. forum.Just wonder why Tv Cancellation thread not on the front page, its here cheer!?!
Glad to see Star Trek Discovery continue. I also hope that Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency gets renewed for another season.
Noooooooo... it just won't die...
http://ew.com/tv/2017/10/23/ray-donovan-renewed-sixth-season/
The 5th season has been almost unwatchable as each actor tries to do their own "I wanna win an emmy" performance, I think I've watched 6 of the 11 aired episodes and I'd rather watch Under the Dome than keep going.
Excellent. Thanks :)I followed this thread back on GAF, even if I did not post much. PM your titles and I'll be happy to change them when I can.
The Bad Boys hit movie franchise is getting a spinoff TV series centered on the character played in the second film by Gabrielle Union.
No one would comment but I hear the untitled project, which is currently being pitched to TV networks, already has garnered strong interest from multiple places and is expected to land a major commitment. It hails from the Bad Boys movies' producer Jerry Bruckheimer, Doug Belgrad via his 2.0 Entertainment and Primary Wave Entertainment. Sony Pictures TV Studios, whose movie sibling is behind the feature franchise, is the studio.
The untitled Bad Boys spinoff is being written by The Blacklistwriters-producers Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier. Union's Special Agent Sydney "Syd" Burnett, introduced in the sequel Bad Boys II, is the sister of Detective Lieutenant Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) who was romantically involved with Marcus' partner, Detective Lieutenant Mike Lowrey (Will Smith). She is an undercover operative with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). You can watch a trailer for Bad Boys II below.
