Also, are we gonna talk about Alfred deleting the footage? Y'all think he's working with what's his name or did he do it so Jefferson wouldn't get tunnel vision on killing what's his name and lose focus of what's important? Or maybe he just wants to prolong Black Lightning's comeback?

Another solid episode. I do like that there's more to this show than just BL. I can't wait to see more Jill Scott.

I really don't like BL's suit aesthetics for the Lightning symbol... looks dumb to be honest, but if they did a more traditional sharper design lightning bolt, it would look like The Flash I guess

And so Supergirl exists here as a character although I'm wondering about the comics in a comic book show. Just claim it is based on her life.

Right, like is this a Logan thing, where they made comics based on real Superheroes that exist... or are they, completely made up for comics?

I want to know more about that Lady who fired the shot at the Reverend and the Boyfriend, who is she.. is she a comic book character?

Since Whale was certain that he had killed Black Lightning, I figured it was an attempt to prevent Jefferson from going Captain Ahab after learning that shooting was his doing as well.

The sex talk at the dinner table was comedy gold.

Loving this show. The social commentary continues to be top notch. Hope to see more of the funeral home lady. She was pretty creepy.

Great third episode. Are the other CW shows this good? Am I missing out? Or did I fuck up by starting with this show first and setting my expectations at a certain level?

There is a swerve with Gambi in the comics, one that Jefferson didn't find out until Gambi died taking a bullet for him-

Gambi was a mob hitman before helping Jefferson become Black Lightning - his last contract was Jefferson's father

So they've dropped "The Outsiders" reference in Arrow, and now this show... and Legends of Tomorrow was originally going to be named The Outsiders.

Supergirl and Looker & Outsider exist in this world as comic characters? I'm so confused.

Three episodes, all good. Though the show needs more scenes with the sisters together.

On Fox's Lucifer show, Supergirl on the CW clearly advertised on a billboard in multiple episodes...
yet DC/Vertigo property
Yet the showrunners have expressed not being opposed to crossover with the other DC TV shows

In my head cannon, BL takes place on Earth 3 with Supergirl until proven that it's not. On their Earth they make comics based on the real heroes like how it was done in Logan. We know there are other heroes on their Earth from that news cast.

Eh they will just have Grace call themselves outsiders as inspiration of her favorite comic
