Love these guys especially their themed videos and they're videos are naturally light hearted and funny. It doesn't feel.like.they are trying too hard with their humour.

Just watched their Left in Japan 10 episode, and I was losing it in the bit where he couldn't find out where to save in Linkle Liver Story. Just press start at the world map.

On Amazon Prime they have the first season of The Video Game Years, which features a bunch of Youtubers going over the history of gaming in the 80s. Just got back to watching more episodes, and I forgot that Game Sack are featured in it!

One of my favorite channels! Oddly enough, I fall asleep to these dudes as well. My favorite episode was the one where they covered games with "attitude". They got all 80's/90's radical in that one. Really educational shows. You can learn so much that you missed growing up.

I'd definitely be into finding other, similar channels.

I absolutely love Game Sack's videos. Look forward to them each week. I love their style and positivity. You can really tell they love games and all. Them and Metal Jesus Rocks are probably my favorite gaming channels right now. Also classic game room and Avgn are great too. But I really love watching more upbeat and positive videos these days without a doubt. Too many YouTube channels have way too much of a negative/always arguing/know it all mentality these days that I've gotten sick of quite a lot of youtube gaming personalities this past year cause of it. But these guys are some of the best for sure and their videos are always entertaining.

Great episode. I didn't even know there was a Shinobi game on the PS2.

My ideal HD remaster would be the PS3 Motorstorm Trilogy. I used to fucking love those games. We're so starved of arcadey racers like it today, too.

I literally fall to sleep to Game Sack (in a good way). I put on their videos on my Vita and they help me go to sleep. The soothing sounds of Game Sack never fail.

Really though, great show, informative and genuine. Well edited too. I love the cheesiness and all. They're also responsible for making me aware of many games I never even knew existed. Growing up in the 80's in Europe and many games just not coming out over here really stunted my overall knowledge on games. But it's cool, because that means I still learn about new games almost every week (not necessarily from Game Sack) so that keeps the hobby fresh.

Though I was the only one played their video on my bed before sleep :p

That being said, their video is really good and more often than not I battled my sleepiness instead on some games that I deemed really interesting. Their positive outlook really helps the channel being shooting, friendly, and informative.

I was always impressed they managed to port Resident Evil to the GameBoy Color, even if it never got released. I remember playing Alone in the Dark on the GBC and that was seriously impressive for what it was, too.

I always enjoy their videos. One thing that strikes me about Joe and Dave is 1) they are really friends 2) they don't feel fake 'happy' that sometimes permeates youtube channels 3) genuine love of games 4)they are positive.

They need more views and subs

With the amount of us that actually fall asleep to their soothing voices, I hope that one day they'll pick up on this being a thing and making a "sleepy games" episode where they overact being tired/yawning/falling asleep/etc :p

Really disappointing that they have something to do with a guy like him. But yeah, otherwise a decent episode.

My favourite Game Sack video has got to be the one they made on the X68000. Introduced me to the system and I've been interested in it ever sense.

Lost a little bit of respect for them after their Ys episodes, but still like them.

I haven't seen an AlphaOmegaSin video in a couple of years. Did he do something bad?

EDIT: http://knowyourmeme.com/memes/people/alphaomegasin- Gamergate stuff I guess?
Yeah, he is a full on gamergater and proud of it.

If you don't want to give Alphaomegasin any clicks, Shaun did a video about Cuphead that features the guy creating a fake outrage on the spot about the game. That's the kind of content you can expect from aos.

Great episode this week.

I wasn't even aware of that Eternal Champions spin-off. My friends and I used to play that a lot back in the early 90s and actually enjoyed it. I wouldn't dare play it today though as i imagine its an awful game in reality.

Always the best cameo to see :p One of their best eps was when they dressed up as the other Youtube game reviewers.

Oh lord that episode is still legendary. The epic Irate Gamer Parody was the best part of the episode and will forever be one of the best moments on their channel. Hoping their third Blu Ray launches soon, too since it's been a year since the second one...

Alpha Omega Sin is a huge blackmark on the retro gaming community, dude is a giant manbaby who belittles everyone with a different opinion than him. No idea how people I once enjoyed (game sack/happy console gamer) continue to associate and colloborate with him, though game sack has always had their share of "DARNED SJWS RUINING GAMES" comments that felt misguided and kind of sad, I always marked that up to them being older/out of touch.

While AOS is a big jerkface and I can't stand him at all, I think people are being a bit crazy by disliking Game Sack just because they're on good/neutral terms with a fellow big youtuber. Most of the time GS's skits are amusing as all get out and their brutal honesty on things is at least not in the same vein as people use claim to be brutally honest for the sake of being a jerk. (Not to mention the fact that said cameos are usually quick and few and far between) Joe and Dave are great people, and even though Joe is more stern than Dave, I don't think either are deserving of any petty boycotts from sensitivity or whatnot. If someone happens to dislike one of their special guests, then just bear through the section nevertheless since their cameos usually aren't that long to begin with. (or in the case of their blu-rays where AOS and others like Classic Game Room and HCG give commentary, don't listen to their commentaries, simple) From what I gather anyhow they seemed to have befriended him back before he went into full blown "Mad over everything and stirring up false outrage" territory that ruined AOS's channel, so at least it wasn't just because of his false outrage.

Speaking of outrage, I recall that Game Sack caused a lot of people throw fits about their first N64 episode back in the day as neither of them were fans of the system due to the small library, which almost led to them killing the show due to how much backlash they got. (Hence the whole part two they made of it despite being one of their longer episodes) Very glad they didn't cave into sensitivity then and also that they went and looked at the more obscure N64 games in part 2 to make up for it. I'll still continue to enjoy Game Sack's for being high quality, well made gaming reviews for years to come unless they flat out do something stupid on purpose over and over again.

What was the falling out over?

Dude's a gamergate and is one of those people who belittles anyone who complain about controversial topic, like racism in gaming in gaming as SJW.

He is not a nice man.

Hearing about a falling out with Pat makes me a little more suspect, I'm not even a huge fan of the Pat the NES Punk show but his podcast is very good. He strikes me as a level headed dude who generally means well so anyone with beef towards him and continues to associate with AOS is kind of suspect lol

Great idea for this week's episode. They look at the best and worst entries in particular franchises.

Digging through their video backlog and goddamn, their earliest videos have that "so bad it's good" vibe lol
Joe already got his voice since day one, but Dave really come a long way ever since.
