Yeah I'm in the "This game looks incredible" camp. Can't get anything really "playable" in 4K without turning all the settings down with my 1070, but this game is definitely a looker maxed out at 1080p.

Martin Klíma just said they are at around 300,000 copies sold on PC (steamworks, so both digital and retail).

That is very good! Means that studio will create patches, updates and hopefully Hussite Wars RPG (though he didn't say that, obviously).

It is from games.cz podcast (in czech)

The game looks good enough, but there's nothing spectacular here, and I don't see why the game is such a resource hog. As far as CryEngine games are concerned, I think Crysis 3 looks better than this.

Crysis 3 has so much less going on though, it's just a shooter not an RPG. There's all the processing for everything that will make the game great. Same with a game like Fallout 4, would run much better if it was a shooter, even in that dated engine.

Can't wait to get back to this tonight, definitely managed to make it immersive.
Can someone explain leveling up for peasant such as myself - I get you level up when performing actions, but how does the points come, I got 2 in Main and 1 for Strength that I could use but I want to save them as I don't understand it completely.

Played about an hour last night, had a blast. Looking forward to a deeper dive after work today.

I failed the beginning quest my first time through. Was at the part where I'm trying to get the coin that drunk dude owed my father. Couldn't beat him in a fight, so I got a lock-pick and tried to pick his chest to get the tools, only to get caught and thrown in jail. The jail caught on fire that night (presumably due to story "advancing") and I died.

Maybe this could help?

Yeah, completed it on PS4 Pro. Runs pretty well on that to be fair, heard it's not great on the base PS4 though. Looks great. But yeah, relatively small studio again so shouldn't be compared with huge studios. This game only had a $5million budget compared with Skyrim's original $85million, so this is a huge achievement. Had to pay a lot of voice actors in that budget as well!

Thank you, explains most of it other than where does the perk points come from, I'm sure they ain't once per level. Kind of remembering that once every 3rd level up? Could be wrong.

Hit 'Q' for info on the stat, it'll tell you how often you get perk points. Some are 3, some 5, etc.

My friend shared his Steam library with me so I can see how this runs on my laptop, and in order to get 30fps I have to set it to Borderless 720p on Low. Even then it dips into the 20s occasionally when just walking around. Of course this is just my performance in the starting area. I'm sure it would dip down a lot more in dense forests and while in a fight. Kind of a bummer, really. :(

That's awesome news, wonder how much it sold on consoles.

I'm hoping they get at least 1mil in sales over the life of the game.

I think I lost around 1h in gameplay since I had to quit without being able to save.

What are your specs?

I'm running a GeForce 940MX 2gb DDR5 VRAM, i5-6200U, and 8gb DDR4

It's not the best, but with most current games I can usually get in the 30fps range on lowest settings at 720p, but usually I don't have to play in any sort of Windowed mode.

The borderless option in KCD is weird and it will shrink the screen size down really small at 720p.

Dont use the easy lockpicking mod. It cause you to no level up your lockpicking so you can only open very easy locks going forward with it. Ah well it is more waiting for me.

Ran into two bandits. Wanted to take the stealthy approach and try to snipe one first. My first arrow went too high, and my second arrow flew between them, which aggroed them and they started attacking each other.

I finished the survivor easily.

Haha. Love the funny stories I keep seeing. Can't wait to get into it.

Oh good. I just bought it and was concerned about my 970s potential performance. I don't need max settings but I'd like better than console's visuals. I'm fine with getting 30fps too.
set your settings to high and you'll get good performance still. 40-60fps (closer to 60fps) outdoors. around 30fps indoors.

Not getting defensive, just being blunt - your videos got so many views because they're breaking embargo on captured content on the game. I did send the videos across but have yet to receive a response. Everyone's crunching on the game still, so people are very busy. ^_^

Too many bugs, massive day one patch, only to discover that the game requires an always online connection each time you launch it. Why? Not acceptable at all.

Crysis 3 is a linear game by a AAA studio that literally made the engine. This is a Kickstarter little company and open world.

Looks really nice as far as open worlds and stomps on a lot of the visual touches in Fallout 4 for example

As someone that's played about an hour and a half (successfully), this is incredible to know! Makes the world feel even more alive.

60.000+ players on steam and third game on twitch, pretty cool that this kind of slower rpg can still get that kind of success =)

Game hung first time I talked to a trader and hard crashed, I've played a dozen hours since and not a single problem. Usually doesn't take more than a couple of seconds for chat but even that feels wrong. Where are you in the game that it's taking that long?

Wait are you on PC or console?

PC, i am in the first main city.

I am absolutely loving this game so far. Must be very lucky as well because in 9hrs i have seen no bugs whatsoever. That save game mod works a charm also.

Trying to decide between PC and PS4. Pretty doubtful that my i2500k and 760 can handle this one.
