It plays fantastic, with a few extra tricks added to the MGSV system
It's definitely out of left field here from my play through...a very very different game....it's like going home to fuck your wife who has had her soul replaced with a tripping nympho...it makes the same sounds as your old wife ....you sorta like it but your not too sure about it...bravo konami....can't say you didn't try something different
"Ask me about tripping nymphos"
Does anyone know how to access the equipment you get from the beta? I received it from the pod, but do not see it in my inventory at all? Is it something I can make later?
Check the Supply Box in the Repository. It's at your base.
Finally, I can sit down and play some more. Been thinking about it all day at work, lol.
I'll try to answer any questions you guys might have.
I mean.... that doesnt sound too bad. haha....My god I know kojima liked to drop some acid from time to time and write his storylines but it appears they left the drug dealer to write the story for this one

if this is fuckin true LOL. Already 10/10 story.Man there are some very very VERY long "codec" cutscenes in this that are basically just non moving imagines with people talking about them.
We also just learned the story behind Dite.
The game is actually set in the 22nd century. Not in an alternate dimension. The Dust and the monsters are all because of (i can't believe I am writing this) Nanomachines.

Maybe it changes the EULA so love can bloom on a battlefield.Hey, I DID read somewhere before release that when you beat it, something changes.

enemies levels are area dependent i think.Does the game have any sort of level scaling on SP ? from the video i saw look like ennemies grow stronger the more overall level inscrease, this is the case or it was just my imagination ? Thank
wait... the bigger question here is how DO you know what the user meant? Been there before?

... how is it like? i mean it doesnt sound bad, but wondering how it is? *thinkingface*
This sounds more fun and meaningful than MGSV's Mother Base. You have a 14 x 14 area for your base. Right in the middle, you have things like the AI, storage and skill trainer (where you level up) and you can't move them. So you're able to build around that.
Things you can build in the beginning:
Campfire
Weapon workbench
Gadgets workbench
Gear workbench
You can place these anywhere inside that 14 x 14 square (again, except the middle). When you first get your base, they'll be rubble around, which you can destroy to make room.
You can rearrange things by orientation.
Some buildings might need 1 square to build, while others might require more.
As you progress, you'll get upgrades for buildings. For example, you start with a basic campfire but that gets upgraded to let you craft more advances things.
Other things you can eventually build:
Shelter - You can sleep here and if you are suffering from any illness, if you sleep at least 6 hours, you'll be healed from them. Downside is your thirst and hunger will decrease.
Vegetable farm - After a certain amount of time, you'll gain vegetables.
If you want to surround your base with fences, you can. Sandbags? You can.
There's also crew management. Assign survivors to different teams.
There is a max capacity for your base in terms of how much you can buils. Each thing you build adds to that. A campfire, for example, adds 0.7%.
Unrelated, but there are daily and weekly quests. Looking at what they have now, the rewards are just materials...but it's something extra to do.
Why not just create a spoiler thread?I will post this spoiler without any explanation
Metal Gear Official Timeline: MGS3>MGSPW>MGSGZ>Wormhole opens above Motherbase>Survive>They change the Past>TPP>MG1>MG2>MGS>MGS2>MGS4>MGR>Survive Again
I feel like many don't know certain basic fruits or vegetables you can find provide water. Or chance it with dirty water and use the intestinal medicine or whatever else cures sickness. This game is quite good. But dear God they wait too long to give you clean drinking water. I guess it's made things quite tense, which is a plus for some I'm sure.
I feel like I would hit a brick wall if it wasn't for the two free clean waters as a login bonus today.
Thats very interesting. Wish the PC version would unlock alreadyI will post this spoiler without any explanation

Hard to say exactly what that would be since it's so non-specific, but I would assume non-core gameplay/engine functionality features were his purview.
Seconding this, may as well make a spoiler thread, some people haven't even started the game yet and people are already talking about how it ends. (I don't mind personally, just saying)
