Are these native 4k, or supersamples 1080p? The aliasing is nonexistent.

I have a preorder for Scorpio edition on Amazon.com that I don't need, if anyone wants it at cost let me know.

So it would be $499.99 + your local tax. with free Two-Day shipping. According to Amazon's automated CS chatbot it will ship on Nov 7 and be delivered Nov 9.

Payment by Amazon Gift Card only. I will attempt to update the order with your address first to make sure everything works and confirm the delivery date before requesting payment. I am a Plus Seller on the previous forum but my feedback hasn't been migrated to the new spreadsheet yet.

I read a lot of reviews today and one thing is clear, MS really did deliver with the hardware. It seems like the mis-step was not having enough games that were enhanced in time for the reviewers. I really would of thought that MS would of had special versions with enhanced games for reviewers. Outside of that it just seems like the real deal. The 16AF auto for Xbox One games and BC titles seems to be pretty massive. When talking about games that did get enhanced it seems like they hit it out of the park.

What is exciting is that all these reviews are based on games that were well into development before devs had dev kits which apparently were given out right around E3 time. That is an amazing thing and shows the development tools MS has created are great. To have games in that short amount of time delivering in many cases 4k Native output. Just imagine games coming out next year at this time with devs having a lot more time with the unit?

I cannot wait to get my system Monday night. I have a ton of games both enhanced and using the brute force that I want to test.

You don't have any other gaming consoles? If not, surely some of your One collection consists of xbox Play Anywhere tiles right? play Cuphead on a PC in the meantime.

yeah i've got two bones, one in the studio, one in the house.

one in the house is the SO white console, so that one's getting traded in tomorrow for $200 CAD credit at EB games [so long as you put it towards the X, valid until Nov. 12th!!!]

Have we heard any info yet on how quickly this game download and installs games and patches compared to the Xbox One S... both my original Day One Xbox and then my Xbox One S are just both abysmally slow at downloading and installing games for the first time It's really my biggest complaint about the old hardware curious if it's an OS thing or if it's been fixed or improved with the X... *fingers crossed*

So I purchased a digital gift card for GameStop and put like $223 but when I checked the balance it said $0.

I called GameStop and they said it had the money on it and they applied it to my order but who knows...

Comparison of WW2 with a pro and xb1. I don't know if it's patched or just the usual upgrade the system automatically applies.

Did Microsoft ever fix the black crush they had going on with Full RGB enabled? Or is that still a thing in the Xbox One ecosystem? I used to have an Xbox One and that always bothered me, considering I try to tune my monitor for it, and kinda found it frustrating having to switch settings profiles every time I played on my Xbox.

I think I saw vague mention that it got fixed in a firmware update somewhere along the line.

Nope never got fixed. Will be interesting to see if the X finally fixes it.

Confession: I still don't know what this even actually is. I feel like those people that thought the WiiU and Wii were the same thing. Although isn't this the same thing as the XBOne?

Also the name of this thing looks like someone's AIM screenname from 2003.

Were the market, public view, developer's choice, and timing any different, this would be the successor to the Xbox One. and possibly the first 9th gen console. It would launch with exclusives. and be backward compatible with Xbox One games.

This isn't happening though. This console is an Xbox One, it's in the same family. No one knows the future but Redmond, but this is how I see what they are trying to do.

1, They have invested so much in BC for 7th and 6th gen, that it's not going away. It seems they want you to take your content with you and invest in the Xbox ecosystem.

2. Xbox itself is more important that the physical Xbox you connect to your TV, it's a brand.

3. For at LEAST the next 3 years, Xbox One games will be treated as games for a mid-range PC, and when played on an Xbox One X, it will look like a top-tier gaming rig.

4. As far as going "beyond generations", expect a successor console to be released at the earliest the end of the decade. I will call this one Xbox One X². Xbox One X² will play every game that came before it, and Xbox One X². software. Xbox One X can also play Xbox One X² software, but not as well. Within 2-3 years of Xbox One X² on the market, all Xbox One X² games will exclusively work only for that hardware.

Aka, the iPhone way of thinking has come to console.

So having troubles with an external hard drive, any advice?

I'm attempting to format but after hitting format nothing happens and I just get booted back to the storage menu. The xbox detects the drive for media, and I can set it as a capture location fine, but actually setting as games and apps isn't working at all. I've tried all the USB ports, a different USB cable etc along with hard resetting the console, reformatting on the PC etc

I'm having the same problem. Try a bunch of random stuff from the web: new cable, remove partition, add partion, format in NTFS and exFat. But so far no luck.

Any tests yet of the internal drive vs an external SSD? The SSD gave me significant improvements on the Xbox One vs a mechanical external. I'm wondering if you need to use the internal on the X to get the biggest benefits?

The best thing about the loading times, is that this "might" fix issues with D&D Sword Coast Legends. At least that would be totally awesome if it happened.

Starting to get a little worried that Amazon UK has not shipped yet. They did list Saturday, so I guess it's still early.

This test is floating around which is currently the only one, afaik. Sadly without knowing what external drive is used it also doesn't say much.
Not sure if it's been posted about load times for older games:

"Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is notoriously long for load times. Results.
S: From Internal HDD 2:55
X From External HDD 2:26
X: From I HDD 1:27"
