Soy más de leer a Silva Herzog y Krauze (y cualquier artículo de interés en Letras Libres y Reforma) que de ver a youtubers (prefiero los noticieros).

Buying video games in Mexico City.

Liverpool, Sanborns or Game planet?

I've seen a few mom & pop shops around but mostly seem to be older systems.

I'm really curious about those shops you are talking about. Do you mind to share their locations? i literally never saw/heard of mom & pop video game shops in CDMX, not even in the old days (only fayuca like Meave , tepito and such).

And i second that your best bet in prices is Amazon, never never buy in Sanborns , it's too overpriced even for them. I don't like Gameplanet at all.

Liverpool is a mix bag for me, they are over priced, but the "meses sin intereses" are very good, that's how i got my PS4 and i'm thinking in buying the Switch in that way. 9mil seems to expensive but over 20 months it's only $450 every month, not bad.

You can actually buy stuff on Amazon "a meses sin intereses" too with certain credit cards. Before confirming your purchase you have the option to pay "a meses sin intereses" right next to your credit card info. So unless your credit card isn't eligible for that option there's no reason to buy consoles from Liverpool or Sanborns over Amazon imo. There are some limitations though: you can only use that option for stuff sold exclusively by Amazon Mexico and you have to buy a minimal amount, but buying a console that way is naturally possible.

As expected he's full of nothing. He says what other people want to hear: "we are going to revert this reform!" when pressed to answer clearly he says: "well, in reality we are not going to revert the reform, we are going to check what we think is wrong and then IF it affects the interest of all Mexicans we are going to attempt to change it legally" when pressed to answer how he's going to attempt to make legal changes he reverts back to what people want to hear: "We'll consult it with all Mexicans!".

I didn't watch it all because I seriously doubt he's going to give more detailed answers, will watch it if I'm wrong though. I'm not voting for him but I don't have other options either. If anything if he wins at least we won't see him again in the future.

He kinda goes specific in various subjects like the energy and education reforms. Wonderland plans to lower crime rate and fight corruption. Searching votes with the youth , promising better opportunities for them to go to college and such.

He was painfully evasive on his personal opinions about gay rights and abortion though but he directly said that the current laws are not going to be abolished or touched.

One thing that should be mentioned and that appalled to me greatly was the antagonistic tone of the interviewers, specially of the "moderator" , Carlos Marin, which i think it is really shameful. Rude, bias, aggressive and giving outraging statements like comparing murders with street bumps, saying the Mexican people are thieves and that the health care system is world class.

Overall i think this AMLO is a far cry from his previous over-populist, aggressive versions. Moderate, well spoken and not falling for obvious provocations. Not happy with his evasiveness on gay rights and abortion though.

The middle of the interview is much better than the first two topics (energy and education reforms).

It was much better than the interviews, debates he had in the last two elections.

Marin is one of the worst people we have in the media. Milenio is such a shithole thanks to him.

Something I always disliked about AMLO is how he "protects" his image by not compromising in topics like LGTB+ rights and always saying stuff like "the people will decide" and stuff like that. Like he never wants to say something that may enrage his religious followers.

Also the face he makes here regarding the topic of LGTB+, womens rights:

Mexico
Hard to tell why. It's not like Nuevo Leon is gonna vote for him after leaving us like that. And the conservative leaning NL is not going to vote in great numbers for AMLO anyway.
Polls say otherwise. A week ago I would've bet on AMLO winning NL but now that Pony is back in I'm not so sure anymore, there are still a lot of useful regio idiots out there. BTW I thought this was a joke thread at first but now it's the Mexico OT? That was unexpected, watched tho.

I don't think I've heard AMLO say anything longer than five seconds in the last half hour. Whatever you think about the others' tactics of targeting him, it has him shook.

He doesn't have a case. He doesn't have arguments of any kind.

Don't get me wrong, I heavily dislike all the others, but Anaya and Meade are stomping him.

Zavala and Bronco are there just juggling balls like clowns. And López is like Don Quijote, if Don Quijote discovered that the giants are actually real.
