Trade wars are an easy win
For everyone but Trump

Update:

CNBC: China responds to Trump tariffs with proposed list of 128 US products to target

China's commerce ministry on Friday proposed a list of 128 U.S. products as potential retaliation targets, according to a statement on its website.

The U.S. goods, which had an import value of $3 billion in 2017, include pork, wine, fruit and steel. A 25 percent tariff could be imposed on pork imports while dried and fresh fruit imports could see a 15 percent duty, the statement said.

Beijing will take measures against the U.S. goods in two stages if it cannot reach an agreement with Washington, the ministry stated.

Basically whenever the US increase the tariffs for China all the Chinese companies do is buy a factory/company in SEA or wherever and then sell them from there avoiding the tariffs.

As a Canadian, I'm a bit surprised by the possible pork tariff. Does the US really get pork from China? Or does this mean pork from the US is going up in price in China, and they're hitting the American pork farmers?
