Seahawks do not want to pay him going forward they have no leverage, either take the second or have him hold out for a new contract. Dallas used to be stupid enough to shell out that kind of cash but not after Jerry handed the keys to his safe to Steven.

Nah, they should pull their heads out of their asses and pay him. He's a HOF safety in his prime and the most important player on the defense. If they let him go for a second they have lost their minds.

Not saying I agree with their thought process, I'd love him in Dallas though, Seahawks are dumb as dick to not give him another contract. I think he can be elite for another 4+ years

It's pretty hilarious that everyone passed up on Josh Allen in the ERA Mock Draft (up till #31). I really want to see the reaction of the fan base that ends up drafting him today.

I think this QB class has some potential, but the only two I expect to produce are Darnold and Rosen. Please don't f this up Browns.

Since I'm over here and will be awake think I will watch this as I have been interested on how it works. All I know or seen it's seems pretty interesting who will get no 1 pick with the head the ball but apparently possible star seeming will get it even though there are safer options available

Decided to skim through some of Jimmy's old tweets after the Josh Allen fiasco and all I got is him meeting Jerry Rice

and that he has solid taste in music

Raiders should be fucking fined for given up Josh Rosen for a 3rd and a 5th and swapping ones.

Meanwhile the saints just gave up TWO FIRST ROUNDERS

DId not like to leave value on the table there with Harold Landry, Wynn or Moore would have been better choices than LVE, but I am coming around to him.

FUCK.

MY.

LIFE.

NFLERA, I'm on one and emotional so give me space as get this Amaterasu hot take off, SCORCHED FUCKING EARTH HERE WE COME.....

JD, YOU HAD ONE FUCKING JOB....

1 SINGLE FUCKING JOB...

GET ME A FUCKING FRANCHISE QB.

Baker Mayfield IS NOT A FUCKING FRANCHISE QB. We had the frail he just wins guy in Colt McCoy. Remember him? I damn sure do. Steelers punted his ass out of the division with a very hard hit mind you. Hope he's okay but HE GONE.

All we had to do was draft Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold, or Lamar Jackson. Whole front office deserves to be fired if Lamar Jackson is better than Baker Mayfield.

Yall see this bullshit? Don't tell me it's going to be okay because it's fucking not.

Here's what going to happen and you can archive it, pin in to a wall, and hold it for posterity:

Hue gets fired a month into the season.
McAdoo takes over and we bring in someone new in the offseason.
New coach demands new QB.
Baker is the bridge guy so we suck again.
NFL Draft 2020 is our chance to redo our mistake.

Don't give me all these horse cock metrics about Baker's success. He played in national power that had high recruiting talent in a system designed to work with his strengths. He's a great college QB but this is the pros and NO ONE had him as the first pick. JD talking about he just wins. Shall we go down the list of who fucking won in college?

Yall not ready for all those metrics but SPOILER ALERT: All of them won a fuckton of games. That amounted to Pitbull piss in the league because college is a different game than the NFL.

This is the worst fucking draft decision I've ever seen. Who gets the blame for this shit?

As I posted in the draft thread:

YES!!! YES!!! Y ...E....S YES! Keim fucking did it, he killed it with the first pick :D I was praying Buffalo would trade up and snag Allen to save us from ourselves just in case but man was it beautiful and unexpected for Rosen to fall to 10! I thought we'd have to trade to the 7-8 range for him once he started to fall. Doing it at 10 meant no second round pick or 2019 first involved even before the details were announced and a third in the draft where we have two and a fifth is a mighty fine price to pay to get a true franchise QB prospect. Especially when you see how badly the Saints were fleeced and hell, what Buffalo gave for moving the same amount of spots (albeit to an earlier pick which is an important detail).

This was a big deal for Cards fans because Keim had never before traded up in the first round and also had never taken a QB in the first half of the draft. It had to happen but Keim loves trading back for more pics and there was that creeping doubt that he'd pull the trigger. Way to go, Keim, you stuck to what you said this offseason and were aggressive. Mayock tried to say Miami wouldn't go QB and he'd have fallen to 15 but fuck that, we've had two years within the last 3 where teams jumped us for a QB we wanted an, in particular, last year when it happened to freaking times! Keim was happy with either Mahomes or Watson and felt one of the two would fall to us and then...KS and TX happened. So this time, no fucking around, go get your guy and at the price, we had to pay, the future was not mortgaged which is phenomenal. Rosen is the best passer and most intelligent QB in the draft and I can't believe he fell to us. The concussion history does scare me but hopefully, this kid stays healthy because he has all the talent and mental traits to be a very successful franchise QB for us for many years to come. One that can one day take us to the promise land if all pans out. Right now we have Bradford starting but we can now breath easy knowing the near future is already in AZ.

I'd also like to throw in that it will be glorious in a few seasons when Jimmy and Rosen have proven themselves to all that Russell will be the worst QB in the division :p In any case, Rosen, Goff, Jimmy G, and Wilson is a hell of a roundup for one division! Has to be the most loaded division at the position in the league (if Rosen pans out as I expect).

Now that we have our future franchise QB, we can build around him and we just happen to have a ton of cap space available to us next year and will be one of the biggest players in FA in 2019. The future is very bright for the Cardinals, very bright indeed! :D
