I finished Ys VIII just in time for this. I am ready.

Well, I just need to buy the damn thing... funnily enough my PSN wallet is short $0.20. Since I'm using the stupid NA store I have to add $5 to my wallet to buy it. adgfdhfd

Edit: I did the SL1 run a while back, on PC. After much suffering at the hands of Manus and Kalameet I told myself, never again.

But, now I kinda feel tempted to try it again. Since, after all, I played the game so much... I need something new to do, something particularly challenging.

...Someone, please, stop me....

Sorcery starting class SL3 run with no pyro is much harder.

Pretty excited for this. Played Bloodborne last month, my first Soulsborne game, and it easily skyrocketed to one of the best games I've ever played.

At a glance, Dark Souls doesn't look as interesting, as the setting is nowhere near as appealing to me. But I have faith in the devs and also the legacy this game has, I'm sure it's great

X has no drops where the Pro could drop a few frames, like when a boss dies and the screen is full of effects. Same resolution and graphical features.

I think the difference isn't worth it if you care about multiplayer, as the PS4 will most likely have a healthier community, but if you don't, no reason not to go with the X. More likely to be backwards compatible when next gen comes as well.

After finishing Dark Souls 3 last week, I decided to move on to Bloodborne. I'm knee deep in it and am really enjoying it. I'm looking forward to playing Dark Souls once I complete it. It will be my first time!

Your setting me up for failure here guys haha, I'm not actually sure how I platinumed Bloodborne as I don't think I'm that good at the game haha. Hopefully I can get used to the slower pace, really looking forward to it though.

The game comes out in 3 days and we still have no PC gameplay or anything. Kinda disconcerting since the original Dark Souls port on PC was so bad. The game isn't even up on Steam yet.

I wish I could be here day one, but I'll be too busy with uni for the coming few weeks. I'm eager to rejoin the fray at some point, though. It's been almost two years since I last dabbled in this game's community. I hope the game's return will be a good one!

I like multiplayer for bosses basically, not really into PVP for the most part

Just a reminder that the Claymore and Zweihander in this game are much, much, much better than their representations in 2 and 3. The Zwei is so heavy but you really feel it when you hurt enemies lol.

When you hit R1 with the Zweihander. OOF.

Heavy weapons feel so damn good in this game. I always play faster characters in basically every game out there, only Dark Souls 1 makes it feel amazing to hold an Ultra Greatsword.

Agreed. The zweihander has been my go-to weapon in every Dark Souls game. It's best in this one.

Claymore is my personal favourite. I like it's moveset. The thrust comes in really handy in tight spaces. I find the Zwei to feel little too sluggish for my tastes.
