So i am still fairly new to the game, and very new to rivens, what's the best way to look at a riven and decide if its good, or needs / would warrant a reroll.

For example i got a Daikyu mod with +9.6 fire rate, +19.3 impact and - 3.1 ammo.

Worth it? Reroll it?

Reroll it. That fire rate is fine, as the Daikyu is the slowest firing standard bow, but the other stats aren't good. Especially that negative ammo. You'd need either Ammo Mutation or a Carrier with Ammo Case to counteract it. Most rivens are good with positive damage, crit chance and multishot. I'd recommend keeping this up to check how good your rolls are. A good riven either plays into a weapons strengths or removes their weaknesses.

One more thing to note, if you can roll good positives and something like +recoil your stats will be stronger. Negatives boost positives and more recoil doesn't affect bows.

After setting my expectations really low and the minor burnout I received trying to get her parts, I'm really enjoying Khora. I haven't used her in higher level content other than some of the easier sorties, but she's fun. I didn't put much research into optimizing my build for her, just focused mainly on power strength and range, and equipping a crit weapon with 5* disposition dual crit riven. Mashing 1 everywhere combined with the looter mod lets me destroy nearly all containers I run into without slowing me down in speeding through a level.

Make sure to abuse her 2, it can bind nearly every enemy in the game including bosses. Even the Raptors and Vay Hek get stuck in place in the air, though they might still attack.

I've kind of been passively grinding Khora while leveling stuff, and it's been working well. Doing runs until wave 8, it's enough to get a frame 0->20 without a booster, and with Naramon bonuses I can easily get a melee weapon 0->30 in normal onslaught.

Just need the systems, unfortunately. Curse you rot C!

I've mostly just used it for enemies that would take multiple whipclaws but I just fought off a stalker and juggernaut at the same time and am liking her even more. The stalker didn't dispel the 2 and the juggernaut easily went down while I was safely bullet jumping in the air and whipping the exposed part. Now you have me in the simulacrum testing what else this works on.

there's a Discord channel I saw on reddit where somebody put up a bot you can use to rate rivens and say how much platinum you could expect to sell them for

I don't know if it's still up, or if it has been updated recently

edit: here's the discord link

pricing would be for PC only, if it's accurate at all

Cheers all, very helpful.

I rolled it a few times, and didn't get anything that good, I don't think it's a particularly good riven, but I'll build a Daikyu and see how it performs anyway!

Even with recent changes I don't like this bow at all. Dread and Rakta Centros seems just way more versitale and Lenz is the murder bow (and sometimes murder-suicide).

Uggg, drop probability really sucks when you are trying to get a specific item.

I am trying to get Contagious Spread, High Voltage and Shell Shock, so I have to run 3 caches on Hive Sabotage, find the caches isn't too bad, but it does take some time to find all three AND destroy the boils and hives.......and to get a 99% chance of getting the mod I want I need to do 100 runs!

Have you considered just farming stuff to sell for plat? Or getting other people who are also farming it to speed it up

Yeah, my luck, and patience, in trade chat isn't the best, and my experience with recruiting people is also not great.

I'll have to try those ways again, or concede and buy the mods with Plat!

Held off building the Oberon because I figured any frame they keep giving you blueprints for must be trash. But I started using it, It's a nice little utility player.

It's always worth levelling a frame at least once. Oberon used to be the jack of all trades sucking at all of them but now has some nice utility. Some good frames are pretty easy to get like volt, banshee, or rhino.

https://forums.warframe.com/topic/959752-dev-workshop-spores-revisited-saryn/

Highlights:
  • Spore pop range buffed across the board, 16m for any enemy death situation EXCEPT for when spores kill an enemy (they will not spread through that).
  • Spores can now be recast. New spores will drop your spore damage by 20%. Recasting also costs 50% less. "Popping" on pressing 1 removed.
  • Spore damage over time will now be based on number of enemies infected (rather than number of spores active), capping at 10 enemies adding to damage, and will ramp up according to power strength. Instead of 1 damage per spore, it's now 2 damage scaling per enemy infected.
  • Most importantly, instead of just resetting when there are no enemies infected, spore damage will decay over time.

Did they fix the problem where more than 2 saryns will result in neither being able to be effective?

Prime Time tonight cancelled due to news of Totalbiscuit's death. Rebecca was barely able to hold it together to tell everyone on the stream. Rescheduled for next week.

In case you weren't aware, it was covered in the Noclip documentary about how important TB's video was to Warframe's launching off the ground. So it's not surprising how hard this hit.

Orokin cells are rough to find when you want them now, even with Nekros desicrate.

My go to place has always been Sargas Ruk with a booster. Last time I did it I got about 16-18 in one run but that was more an exception than the norm.

Go around the level as Nekros and enemies should drop some, check rooms for Cell Arrays and containers.

If you don't find any, Sargas Ruk has a pretty high drop rate.

I'll give that a try, was only getting 4 in a run on Gabii

I am finally getting back into warframe after not playing for a few months... Anyone have tips for the new onslaught mode? Played it once to get a feel for it but my experience there is all I know about the mode atm...

Also there was a big balance patch a few weeks ago with a bunch of weapon buffs right? Any weapon that used to suck but is worth my time to acquire and try now?

It's been too long for me to really remember the "oh shit" weapon changes. Notably, I guess, all the Bows got their draw times reduced so Fire Rate mods are almost unneeded except in the case of the Lenz. Here's the full list from back then: https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/7viv20/massive_weapon_rebalance_from_de/

The basic Tiberon got a nice buff but the Tiberon Prime exists now. Telos Boltor is crit viable. Scourge got a nice damage bump. Hikou Prime got more status chance.

The Supra Vandal was a big winner, but you have to wait for it to show up at Baro Kiteer.

Beam weapons got a rework too, so you'll want an Amprex and an Ignis Wraith. Synoid Gammacor and Atomos for secondaries.

Thanks for the responses. I'll definitely check out the linked thread and the weapons you both mentioned. Cheers.

Seeing everyone's dojo creations on the warframe subreddit has made me sad I cant think of anything interesting to put in mine.
