Is the Vr mode really only the characters empty rooms with no one there?
I was hoping for the characters to show up or for there to be scenes with them or activities to do or anything really. Seems super bare bones if that's the case. Is it true?

My only complaint about the triple pack is that it has the exact same box as the double pack. I feel dumb having two identical boxes, lol

I know it's the 5 thread but playing a little of 4 again for the first time in a long time thanks to the free code and there are some absolute bangers on this soundtrack.

I love that characters react to things in the cutscenes in real time and not just when they get their turn to speak.

The first Rivers in the Desert remix is freaking garbage.
But by the time I'd unlocked the third set of songs I was already in love. The 星と僕らと remix is delicious.
Still can't get over the downright bizarre sampling in the OP, though.

I was waiting for the inevitable E3 announcement, but I caved. Just bought it digitally. Time to jump in. only bought P5D
Just got my copy of this and P3D in tonight (yep, Amazon Japan ships fast). Played a couple songs in P5D and just one or two in P3D for now.
P3D's UI is miles more readable than P5D's. Maybe I'm just imagining it but I feel like even the graphics for the note charts were more manageable in P3D, even though they're almost identical.
This is my first Persona Dancing game so I'm still getting the hang of the gameplay... but I don't really see how this can be manageable on All Night difficulty. I have trouble tracking the notes/scratches as it is on Normal. It's just total visual overload, especially with the dances going in the background.

So One thing I noticed so far. In the Tutorial, they use Persona 4 music. kind of weird. Did they just rip the tutorial from P4D and put it here with one change? (I havent played P4D in quite some time, dont even remember if it did have a tutorial)
Interested in picking this up. how are the trophies (sorry if im getting a music game it should atleast give me some nice trophies :P)
How are they as in obtaining them? MY japanese isnt that well, but it seems straight forward from what I can understand. Get a combo of X number, get a perfect, beat a level in hardest difficult, etc etc. Its manageable.
A question as well. Does anyone know how to turn of the claps? I am not sure exactly where to find it or what option it is.

All P4D DLC is cross-compatible with the Vita version. Buy the Vita DLC and you should be able to access it on PS4.
Yeah I'm watching some videos and it looks like the beatmaps still aren't consistently in time with anything? It really seems like they didn't improve anything at all from P4D along with cutting story mode.
No option to darken the background?
From the Google translations I've read of the trophies and that people have been getting the Platinum trophies in just over 6 hours each, it doesn't seem hard at all.
This is good news, think I bought all the dlc for the Vita version. Loved P4D, so many good songs.

I have to turn the speed way, way up for the game to be readible. The speed setting is near the bottom in play custom, and there's a 12% custom option that doubles it. I play at 6x2.

There is. It's near the bottom in options and the only slider type option that defaults to being maxed out. (The above video is at minimum brightness.)

A question to those who bought the Vita versions: How do they run?

Oh thank god, that's much better. Still messier than I would Iike, but you won't be missing any notes to similar background color.
Somewhat surprisingly, triple pack made it in today. Box is so shiny and glittery.
Just played P5D a bit and P4D. New progression system to unlock stuff seems interesting. Game is gorgeous.

So playing through the first 2 collections of songs in Persona 5 and honestly haven't really liked any of them at all, save for the Haru one. Maybe I just need to give them time, but I don't remember having to warm up to P4's in the same way.

I've managed to locate and install all the additional song DLC I bought before, but I can't get any of the costume DLC to work. Those do show up in your link but it says I can't purchase them for some reason (and I already bought them for the initial release).
Edit: Actually, I was able to take the description of one from your link (水着) and search using that on the PS4 and could find and install it. So just need to rinse and repeat. Sucks something general like ペルソナ４ doesn't work.

The social link/confidant/Commu with Yusuke doing silly poses and other things continue to be the best...
Japanese Game doesnt take american DLC. DLC is always region locked. Only way you can have it working is you got the dlc via japanese PSN
This game's value proposition is really bad. I don't regret picking it up because I'm a huge Persona fanboy/sucker, but it's really hard to justify paying that much for 20-something songs. Especially when many songs are "repeated", and when multiple great tracks from the original game's OST are ignored.
I can whip out my smartphone with Bandori right now and play over 50 songs free of charge, plus a million times more story content. And Bandori actually has good beat charts too :/

It's not that - I had P4D JPN version on my Vita. Guess the dlc isn't quite ready yet.
I had to log into the PSN store on my PS4 with my JP account and search for the DLC individually. Each is 10 yen to download on PS4 :P
But it works, and all seems there. Just the link in the game doesn't work (yet?)
