Well... I just don't know what to say. Get rid of the GO capture mechanic and I guess it's cool, but shit, am I expected to play this with one Joy con just so I can flick my wrist to catch them? Fuck...

So are enemy mobs always on the screen or only in coop?

That Pokeball is being thrown at TV's. I like how they put the strap in the ingame model, they know this shit is happening.

If there's no wild battles or anything this seems really weird to me.

I thought that the Go catching wouldn't play a part in wild Pokémon encounters until you actually go to throw the ball. I didn't realize they were flat-out replacing wild Pokémon encounters with it.

Boy am I very unsure about this.

EDIT: Game looks very pretty though, I'll give it that.

Looks like I'm waiting for the actual core game that comes out in 2019 :l

I like how they call it "a new pokemon game" when it's clearly a gen 1 remake lol.

Anyway looks about how I expected, gen 7 graphics but in HD. Also it looks like there might be pokemon on the overworld in some form, as well as pokemon following behind you, so that's cool. I hate the first person perspective for wild pokemon battles though, I guess they're trying to emulate pokemon GO as much as possible.
