Sony conference was really good, but I was expecting to see FF7R, so I'm disappointed by that.
MS conference was pretty lame, didn't care about any of the exclusives, which is annoying because I wanna get the X1X sometime this year and I want it to do well. Dopey is living in an alternate reality.
I'm ready for Nintendo to disappoint as usual.

Nintendo will just talk about Fire Emblem, Pokemon Let's Go and Smash.
Then just to disappoint you further, they announce a bunch of J-pop idol games they're localizing from other companies and create a ANOTHER J-pop game they're developing internally despite TMS#FE flopping. And instead of censoring the hell out of it like they did with TMS, this game is basically softcore porn.

$6 million/year for Jack Johnson has to be McKenzie being a bit of a mouthpiece, right? I thought Alzner was going to get about $5.5m/year last summer and he got less than that and they're similar: world junior & draft pedigree, 200 hockey men thik they're good, actually complete shit and at-best bottom-pairing guys.
I bet his new deal has a NTC/NMC clause and he gets traded during before July 1, 2019 when that kicks in. I don't get why he wouldn't play out the year and get that money from a team that's actually good and not in a constant financial crisis.

Pretty disappointing 2018 for Nintendo if Smash is all they've got. But it's hard to follow up a solid 2017.

Not sure if announcing a couple of logos for games that will never come out just like everyone else did would've made it better or worse. Probably less painful overall
New Fire Emblem looks good. Too bad the only two characters I really wanted in Smash got shafted to assist trophy hell. Lyn and Waluigi died so Ridley could live.

I fucking loved that presentation, but I also play Smash 4 near daily. There was actual recognition of competitive player requests/changes with that angle for once.
