Same here. His disingenuous attitude and fake laughter on his podcast was a massive turn off. So sad for Chloe though. What a terrible thing to go through.

No, that's not what I meant. I don't think Chobot is the person that helped Hardwick sabotage Chloe's career that she described on her post. My point is that Chobot retweeted something about "not jumping to conclusions" right after this thing blew up and also liked a tweet from Hardwick's wife about not believing things said on social media - a tweet from months ago and not related to Chloe's situation. I was one of the few here bringing it up that it's fucked up that some are attacking Hardwick's wife over this, since she's potentially as much of a victim as Chloe, but I just wish that I saw equal support to Chloe from her.
I agree that waiting for Nerdist's official statement is the better approach to the situation, and sorry for derailing the thread.

This is mind blowing. I was a fan of both of them while they were together. She suffered a miscarriage and they both kind of had a weird nonchalant attitude about it. Not long after that they were broken up amid rumors of her cheating. Maybe this was the real reason.

Chris has talked on his podcast a lot about his personality issues. The perfectionism, workaholic, depression stuff. If you cobbled together all those bits of conversation you'd probably come up with all those things that Chloe is accusing him of.

It's the closest I got from having someone that I looked up disappointing me. I have expressed why I felt personally about the subject very clearly on that thread. If you can't understand why, maybe the problem is you, not me. Sexually abusing children is fucking serious shit, not something to treat it nonchalantly like you are doing. But let's drop this right here.
Chris is pretty much the King of the Schmoozers. He managed to get where he is by being affable and friendly around everyone who could help him and cutting loose everyone who could potentially negatively impact his ascent. Chloe mentioned it in her letter, but I know a lot of people like him. The term "starfucker" is kind of uncouth, but in Chris' case it's pretty apt. He very clearly had one goal: to be famous and to be around famous people and once he got a taste of that the narcissism bloomed like a goddamn kudzu infestation.
