Shiny Rayquaza will be the first I grind for since Lugia since 1) it's fucking black and 2) I actually need a bunch of Rayquaza anyway. Probably will be the last one too. Grinding for those is way too much of an effort and I really just don't care haha.
They probably will just be standard raid Pokémon. It would be interesting though if they did a massive questline where you obtain all three AND Regigigas though.
It's random and the best way to grind raids is to have a group of dedicated people, map out the lvl. 5 eggs in your vicinity and plan a route so you can raid the most times throughout the day. If you're just casually raiding, pay attention to the app and look for raids that are either close to you or enough people have signed up. If you sign up, other people might be more inclined to sign up too. Be open about your trainer level. You don't want to show up, then find out you can't quite make it as a group.
They could do it so you could hatch a Pichu which can only evolve into Alolan Raichu
If there are enough people to finish the raid, no one will care if you tag along with nonsense. I ran out of revives last night and have literally been throwing everything except the kitchen sink at raids as a result. Outrage Dragonite as a Kyogre counter and the Bellossom anchor got me some laughs this morning.
