I can see changes:

-Rose is super attractive asian actress
-Finn dies and is written off
-Reylo is canon
-Luke destroys whole imperial army with Force Kamehameha
-Luke survives to train Poe, who is now the self insert
-Some """deep""" social commentary how not all imperials are bad
-Pink hair what's her face is removed completely or dies in explosion

On the shooting bombers shit at the start, people also need to realise that it's not because there's electricity going in a device that it has to glow like it's radioactive shit from the simpsons.
I mean this shit is powering trams in some cities
1200px-Bordeaux-aps%2Bisolation%26joint.jpg

And it sure as hell isn't glowing in the dark or something.

there's even a mechanism to avoid people getting zapped when they touch it.

Leia should be in the same mythical tier as Luke (and Han) though. She was just as important to the downfall of the rebellion as he was, maybe even more so. Nobody giving a shit about Leia asking for help felt a little... i dunno, wrong?

People who stay in the public eye get less mythologized than those who disappear (or die). Pretty normal actually.

I agree, Into Darkness was waaay better.

Nah #1 will always be gamers

There is no way they top sports fans, given that people get actually beaten to death over baseball games.

Also the 501st go see dying kids, so that has to count for something.

Ok, so lets make a top

1. Gamers
2. Sports
3. Star Wars

and I just want to make an statement about the "dropping bombs in space"

Isn't in Empire Strikes Back, a scene with TIE Bombers?

fans just want to hate something man.

Just add one scene where it shows that Rose is a First Order spy/saboteur, and it's all good.

So with all the recent news about fan-remakes and forcing real life people off social media for characters they played in movies, are Star Wars fans currently The Worst Fans?

Days after Kelly Marie Tran was harassed off IG, I was told by a poster here that Black Panther fans were the worst because we liked Killmonger

So obviously Black Panther fans are the worst :/

At least with those bombs we don't get a super close up so we can at least try to pretend that they have some kind of propulsion system attached to them. In TLJ they go out of their way to show that bombs are falling in outer space. They could have had a high physics student watch that sequence and tell them how incredibly dumb it was.

A high school physics student would also know that there is no sound in the vacuum of space, that X-Wings shouldn't behave like WW2 planes in space, that wrecked starships shouldn't "sink", that lasers don't work that way, etc. They'd also know that this is a fantasy movie and not a physics textbook.

Leia should be in the same mythical tier as Luke (and Han) though. She was just as important to the downfall of the rebellion as he was, maybe even more so. Nobody giving a shit about Leia asking for help felt a little... i dunno, wrong?

It wasn't that nobody gave a shit. It was that nobody was willing to stand up against the First Order after they just destroyed the Republic capital and it's starfleet.

Others already replied to you, but I'm going to pile on even so, just because this thing needs to die and people need to learn:

There's gravity inside the bombers (like all other spaceships in Star Wars), as shown by Paige falling, so anything that falls from the bottom of the ship will just keep on going "down" in space. On top of that, the bombs are on a maglev railing, so they're pushed down towards the target.

AND, the obvious answer is that an object in space keeps going in the direction it is pushed, so the bombs just keep falling.

Even without all those explanations from "official sources", use your imagination people.

I wish these toxic babies wouldn't do their darnedest to make me feel ashamed just being lukewarm on TLJ. It's not even funny anymore how generally anti sjw trash opinions are associated for why TLJ is "bad" movie.

But she continued post war and became the face of a political movement.

I go back and forth on Kylo. For as much characterization he receives, I'm not actually sure wtf he wants at the end of TLJ beside burning everything down I guess?

LFTS is a great channel and this video wasn't supposed to be a comprehensive critique of the film but I think it's ridiculous people are saying they've never heard any legit criticisms when the main subplot is a unsatisfactory perfunctory mess that wastes the potential of one of the main new characters.

The fucked up part being, as mentioned in the video, Kylo, Rey & Luke get great creative arcs with well earned payoffs so why couldn't Finn get that level of care for his story?

Half the film is really good and the other half is like they didn't even try
Yeah, Kylo at the end of the movie is the only thing I don't really care for because he feels like he's reduced to a typical super villain at that point. His entire arc is great, but I almost wonder if they jammed too much character progression into this movie.

I said this in another topic and I'm going to repeat it:

I've seen what fans are capable of with a budget and I'd strongly prefer not having desperate weirdos in the woods with lightsabers...again...

I'm not sure I want to read the last 13 pages so forgive me if this has been said before now, but this might have been an okay idea if it was done entirely tongue-in-cheek like the crowdsourced RoboCop remake. Could have been a fun commentary on pleasing/displeasing fans and the blurred lines between the consumer and provider in entertainment these days.

But no, these guys are 110% earnest about this.

Ugh, I hate this. I'm in disbelief that people actually want this. Sure, the movie has its flaws but remaking the movie? That's nonsense.
