It's pretty well known Edmonton wants Zucker and and Brodin both. And if they want to get rid of Lucic and get both of those guys, I would guess that Draisaitl would be the price.

I can see Bergevins July 1 plan as being (since JT ghosted him and since ROR cant be had for less than a 1st rounder) throwing a ton of money at Statsny, re-signing Plekanec, then rolling Statsny-Drouin-Danault-Plekanec down the middle and claiming he has fixed our centre ice woes.

I think Statsny is basically a mercenary, and we'll (incredibly foolishly) probably offer him more than anyone else.
