I feel for the Isles fans. It sucks to go through this.
At first I thought he was trolling with that tweet, but apparently there was a report that he'd flown back to NY.
What's the plan for the Rangers this coming season anyway? Even if he's average Lundqvist is too good to tank with unless you scorch the rest of your roster (which is a terrible way to tank). I could be completely wrong because I don't follow things closely but the roster looks to be set in that limbo mediocrity part of the standings for a few years which is not a great place to be.
Missing Pettersson, Dahlen, Demko, Gaudette, Juolevi. They're probably considered known quantities so left them out. Juolevi needed more time to work on his Mario Tennis online ranking

Max Pacioretty spent most of his prime carrying David Desharnais. Now, in his last year with the Habs, he'll to carry the Leafs equivalent.

Gotta tell ya I have no idea how Stamkos managed to resist the Leafs pitch of millions in sponsorship for life and playing for his childhood team. JT will not be able to resist -- Toronto checks all the boxes, money, better chance to win a cup and literally the only downside is playing in the fishbowl. JT to Toronto
