Frustrated I can't make the one in Chicago. The heat is too much for my two-year-old.
If you can't make it to a protest, Felicia Day is hosting a charity stream benefiting RAICES with guests and giveaways.
Starts in about an hour.
Out of town today otherwise I would have been there. Glad people turned out.Went to the Atlanta one. Good turnout. However, if you weren't right at the front it was impossible to hear any of the speeches.

I am fucking furious that this is even happening, people being arrested because they use there first amendment and doing peaceful protest?
600 woman where arrested also because of this?
It is becoming a police state more and more..
Yes, there was a booth to register to vote at my protest.Hearing about various groups using the marches today to register people to vote, and that just warms my heart.
Same, just got back. Saw some masked alt right dickheads lounging on a street corner up in Beacon Hill afterwards trying to start arguments about MS13. Bunch of idiotsWent to the Boston rally, and glad I did - learned about some local legislation I can support (SCA) to help at least a little bit.

I'd be disappointed if these weren't prevalent at every march/gathering today. Someone dropped the ball if they weren't.Voters registration forms in the NYC march, countdowns to Election Day. That's the important work too.
Just got back from the DC rally. Great turnout even though it was HOT. ~30k if I had to guess, though it was hard to tell because folks were more spread out than usual trying to stay in the shade. We marched past the Trump hotel and everyone stopped and jeered, which was fun.
All kinds of different folks there - young, old, etc. People stopped at the doors of the DOJ to place their signs there, including a headshot of Merrick Garland, which was both awesome and tragic.
Has anyone seen any official crowd estimates yet?
I did notice that. Also noticed a lot of people leaving early before the march due to the heat (mostly people with kids). So when they do crowd estimates I'm curious if they're measuring the march, or the rally, and at what time.I know I'm DC they were expecting 50k but I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually more. A group left Lafeyette early and marched ahead so it basically split into two groups.
