It's not that crazy that JT hasnt publically decided but the fact that NONE of the 6 teams were told they were out until just now is kinda wild.

Habs sign Kotkaniemi to his ELC....why? Dude is 17, could have waited at least a year before starting the clock on his ELC.

The clock doesn't necessarily start, though. This just gives the Habs more flexibility with bringing him to caps etc

Islanders had like 5 years to stop being run like shit and they didn't bother even really trying until like a month ago. Glad Tavares left that org really, but sucks for the fans. At least the team looks like it will finally have a direction for a while.

I couldn't get over the ppl saying the announced plans for the new arena meant Tavares would re-sign, never made a lick of sense to me that a new rink *maybe* in 3 or 4 years is going to make him happy to be commuting between 3 locations until then.
