Underwhelmed by the Years & Years album. Debut is a masterpiece but this one feels pretty phoned in thus far (on Lucky Escape). A lot of these songs actually sound very Justin Timberlake-y to me (especially Karma). This is far, far less electropop than the first one.
Maybe it will grow on me, but no track has stood out so far which is not encouraging. There is no King, no Desire, etc.

Palo Santo and Up in Flames (a bonus track I'm assuming) were both pretty good. All in all though, a step back from Communion.
She does look incredibly thin and is entirely unrecognizable to me as someone who hadn't seen her in some time. Definitely appears to be well underweight. She looks in good spirits though so hopefully not illness related.
She had health issues before so thats why Im worried tbh or maybe she has gone wild with her work out routines and the hiking cause she does like hiking with her dog.
I have only listened to it through twice, there are some bops for sure, but yeah I'm thinking it's not quite as good as Communion. I too got a JT vibe from one of the songs. Welp, that leaves CRJ or Ariana to save Pop in 2018.
Wow, really? I have never been a fan, but Anna Wintour does it for me! I LOVE her signing voice in the song, reminds me of a late 90s house song. So much so that every time I hear it I try to remember what song it reminds me of. I'll think of it one of these days.

In a world of Solange, Jorja, H.E.R., Ella Mai, SZA, and Kehlani, the sultry R&B lane is crowded and Teyana didn't really do anything to stand out from the pack other than be associated with Kanye. She needs to ditch him and get with a producer who will actually care about building her up.
