Lol, it's a "We didn't want to renew it, but Disney made us" thing I guess.I figured midseason but if it's Summer then it's really being sent to die.

I doubt it will have any impact, but there has been a pretty substantial effort from the fans for Lucifer, mostly on Twitter. #SaveLucifer and #PickUpLucifer has been on the worldwide trending off and on since the news brokeMost likely not which makes me sad. I don't feel like the bulk of the fans pushed for another network to pick it up like the fans of The Expanse and Wayward Sisters. The Wayward Sisters stuff is very impressive. Over 50,000 signed the petition already and that's for a CW show that never even existed. That show would have been a huge performer for the CW but for some reason they simply refused to pick it up but the fans are pushing hard for it.
DWTS: Juniors?
Oh god.
I stopped watching the show years ago. How is this still even going- not even just going, but adding spinoffs.
Freeform is up first, talking about renewals.
"Freeform is the millennial network."
Never forget ABC shows being brought to us by Ford.ABC says this is the first time ABC and Freeform are presenting together. They will reveal the lineup of both channels.
EDIT: ABC saying consumers need better advertisements and needs to "add the advertisers within the shows", whatever that means.
Disney has a new ad solution.

Not in my opinion. Supernatural is already spread thin enough; we don't need it to get thinner. Plus it would take any of the good female characters away from Supernatural. CW needs to stop trying to do Supernatural spinoffs - it's not going to happen.
Hahahahaha okayAuthenticity is important to Freeform programming and you will see that in their lineup today, millennials want shows that are authentic.
They're not talking about people like you, and you know it.I'm technically Millennial (1981). I'll be 37 this year. Freeform is not for me.
oh....
There's going to be a lot more of that as the main networks move wholesale into mainly inhouse productions. If it's making decent bank internationally/ on streaming and it's a choice between paying the same for a new show which might not do those numbers then I imagine the network will keep some pretty low rated shows ticking over for longer than they should.
see the CW as a case in point.
Both Grown-ish and The Bold Type are good and Cloak & Dagger is coming. Embrace it.I'm technically Millennial (1981). I'll be 37 this year. Freeform is not for me.
If that was the case, ABC would be inclined to renew as they do get the profit. But it doesn't seem like a CW case, it seems like Disney forcing a non-profitable show to continue for brand reasons.
The fans were the ones who wanted this spinoff to happen. They literally petitioned for this specific show with these characters.

Honestly anyone I talk to has a different set of years of what a millennial actually is.Then don't say Millennials. It's an over-used term that is defined but not used to describe those in the definition.

Ignoring things because of the name says a lot about you.I'd never watch anything called "Grown-ish". I hate the term "grown".

It's SyFy so don't be too sure. They'll wait until the end of the season. SyFy cancels a lot of shows I like. For some reason had it in my head Krypton was already renewed, but I guess not.
Do you know the show Black-ish? It's a TV-MA spin-off of that where the girl is going to college. She's "grown" and going to college is kind of what the name means. It says a lot about the show, which in turn peaks or wanes my interest.

Oof.*rolleyes*. Yes. I'm in the TV thread. I know what Black-ish is. My friend Dawn called her daughter "grown" at 18 and it just irks me. For instance. Grown Up, maybe. Grown isn't a description. Now get off my lawn.
Yep.lol. Grown-ish is awesome. You don't know what you're missing out.
Yep.
Also lol at "get off my lawn". Whatever you say you damn Millennial. ;)
It and Hawaii Five-0 were perfect shows for a Friday night.I'm not crazy about Shark Tank on Sundays still. Really liked it on Friday. Also, I'm slightly worried about their comedies on Friday now but I guess they could be fine.
Fresh off the boat and Speechless getting send to the death spot is breaking my heart.
