Please at least give us the topic context lol
There are lines that can be crossed. US citizenship doesn't mean people have to forever respect other people who can't even do the bare minimum of treating other citizens as basic human beings. These people are Americans and are free to hold on to their own opinions, have their voice heard and equally be represented in Congress, even if it stands against what many people on here believe. It's beyond condescending to discount people from rural locations.
I may not agree with them, but I will show them the respect they deserve as citizens.
Kurt Russel channeled Bernie for his role as Ego the Living Planet
Tax return answer
I mean, I don't respect that we have a political system where they are overrepresented at the expense of my voice tbh. These people are Americans and are free to hold on to their own opinions, have their voice heard and equally be represented in Congress, even if it stands against what many people on here believe. It's beyond condescending to discount people from rural locations.

Separate issues turn out to be separate issues. Who fucking knew!
pretty much sums it up
an issue pushed by the media for the media
His ego (relative to other candidates) is a real issue. Who fucking knew!Separate issues turn out to be separate issues. Who fucking knew!

But it does entitle them to have the ability to have their voice heard and be represented in government and the direction of this country. There are lines that can be crossed. Yeah, I feel bad for her. I just donated $10 to her campaign because she is one of my top picks. She may not last. Signing onto that pledge is crippling her because she doesn't have a donor base.
Then obviously concerns about all of the above wont be ignored. His ego (relative to other candidates) is a real issue. Who fucking knew!
Climate change was a huge deal at that time...Bernie talking about climate change before it was cool (2nd clip). Wish I was a hipster.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was.
Oh lord. But it does entitle them to have the ability to have their voice heard and be represented in government and the direction of this country.
The focus should be how can we can engage them and potentially change their ideology and views rather than say they shouldn't count. It's not easy, it's not fun, trust me, I have no interest in associating with bigoted, hateful individuals. But I am not going to discount them nor am I going to stoop to their level of ignorance. That's all I'm saying.
There is too much goddamn in-fighting in this country already.
What a sickening, nasty postScrew these people. People living in rural areas is why we can't have nice things in Florida and pretty much every state.
Losing respect for the worst of this country isn't asking for them to have their citizenship revoked. They're allowed to be blamed. But it does entitle them to have the ability to have their voice heard and be represented in government and the direction of this country.

I'd feel for them if they didn't consistently let me down all of the timeThese people are Americans and are free to hold on to their own opinions, have their voice heard and equally be represented in Congress, even if it stands against what many people on here believe. It's beyond condescending to discount people from rural locations.

Many people have fallen for the smears.
Then again, a lot of people here don't like Chapo either.
IIRC, that was the year of the ozone hole scare and banning CFCsYeah, I'm pretty sure it was.
What we're experiencing right now is more of a climate renaissance.
Just to be clear, I think concerns about his ego are BsThen obviously concerns about all of the above wont be ignored.
*whistles* One of these things is not like the other *whistles*
If that's nasty just wait til you hear who they support!
I think Chapo is ok.
Be careful, it's clearly bait.I think Chapo is ok.
I'm suprised though that i found their book being sold in a national bookstore chain here in the Philippines, at a time when Duterte is tagging lefty types as terrorists.
The stuff on the Korean War alone would recommend against reading it: https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2018/08/28/chapo-trap-house-book-review-219596I think Chapo is ok.

"they" as if "they" are a collective who deserve universal condemnation is sickening
yeah i've lived in the deep south my entire life and in the rural deep south my entire life and was born here. there are many reactionaries and unpleasant people (and there are many reactionaries and unpleasant people who live in cities and suburbs) but smearing everyone who lives in rural areas and painting them all with the same brush as if they're all a monolith is disgustingI've lived in the south. With rare exceptions anything outside of urban areas deserves the bad rap.
I think chapo is great when they make fun of Ben Shapiro, Crowder, etc, but pretty mediocre otherwise. Not a fan of their shtick of hating everything. Sam Seder is basically a smarter show and more fair to liberals.I think Chapo is ok.

Other concerns are not. Which is why, regardless of a single topic, others will need to be addressed. At the current rate of this town hall, there will still be plenty of unresolved issues.
Oh man lmaoThe stuff on the Korean War alone would recommend against reading it: https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2018/08/28/chapo-trap-house-book-review-219596
If Britney were around in the 70s, do you think he would write rape fantasy essays about her?
*flees thread*
I think it's pretty clear that it's not all rural people ever"they" as if "they" are a collective who deserve universal condemnation is sickening

Has Bernie Sanders explained why he still isn't a registered Democrat? He's still listed as an independent, but caucuses with Dems and runs in their primaries. So weird how he has such a hold over the party, but still doesn't identify as one.
