Apex Legends hits a million unique players in under 8 hours

I just played two or three matches, but Respawn has something really special on their hands. Hats off to them.
I am one of these unique players, I have truly loved playing this game. An absolute joy, they took what blackout tried to do and made it so much more fun and inventive. Kudos respawn
Finally EA has another hit on their hands besides their EA Sports titles. Here's hoping Anthem does good in the coming weeks as well.

Not surprised as it's a game developed by a studio that's made two of the best multiplayer FPS games this gen.

Now that I think about it the game probably booted up on the integrated GPU...
I want it too but the way the game is currently designed with the class hero mechanic I don't even think it could be done unless they rework it.
It's a good time. Had a lot of fun playing it. Wouldn't have given it a shot if it weren't free to play after getting burned by Blackout; very smart decision.

Titanfall 2 died so Battlefield could sell an extra million copies, it's only fitting that Respawn gets their pound. Even if I don't particularly understand the game, it's definitely something that wasn't rushed.
This feels like a hit. Such a silky smoothe experience and the class based heroes add a lot to the genre.
A friend of mine had this make sure the game is using your 1050 card gpu and not the integrated gpu

I used to work for a small-scale F2P MMO company and you'd be shocked at the Day 1 dropoff and how misleading unique user counts can be in the long term. Either way, we'll be watching Apex Legends' career with great interest.
