Battlefield V Open Beta starts september 4

For me as well. BF is my favourite franchise and I'm a huge WW2 history buff. Can't wait for the beta.
Will be switching between Destiny 2 and the beta so that should be a good time regardless. Excited to see the changes from what I played in the alpha to open beta.

Its just the service model? New stuff gets added in line abit of how world war 2 went. Like weapons, vehicles, maps etc and next to that skins and stuff like that.
That's what I thought. A new buzzword for events/themes/DLC, similar to Call of Duty's events. However, this is what confuses me:

Same day as Forsaken... well that sucks, guess I'm going to have to skip the beta and just go by word of mouth before purchase.
I am completely fine with this. Criterion made Starfighter Assault in Battelfront II and it was excellent, and it gives DICE more time to work on the main game.
