High Moon and VIcarious Visions did a lot of the heavy lifting for the stuff people liked.Did they really imply that Bungie released Destiny in its launch state and Activision studios fixed it ?

Tying up resources for other projects? you mean the people you are now sacking?
Nice try, Bobby
That's not what shareholders of publicly traded companies want.
Public companies are run by shareholders, they choose upper management, and they want their shares to grow. Welcome to the free market in a capitalistic society.
That don't make share holders money friendI wish more companies would be happy with just making enough to provide everyone with a comfortable living.
I believe the cuts were non developer relatedTying up resources for other projects? you mean the people you are now sacking?

Yeah, but should we really give a pat on the back to Bungie for fucking up not 1, but 2 Destiny games at launch, and then fixing them later on? I heard the same shit with Destiny 1.. "The game sucked at launch but now it's super good with the latest expansion!". Is this going to happen to Destiny 3? Come on.This can't be said enough. They really fixed their shit with Forsaken. Many Devs get credit for turning games around and Bungie did that with Destiny. I was hard on them here too for a long time. Currently Destiny 2 is very good.
Sure if we are living in the past, it's not a dissapointment nowI mean, Destiny 2 is a disappointment, and Bungie need to blame itself for it.

I'm cautiously optimistic. And part of that was ironically Activision Blizzard's influence.
Bungie have a lot to prove now being independent, but let's see if they carry on acting like they were under their masters who claimed they weren't doing good enough.
Yup. Bungie needed 2 extra studios to get content out of the door and all of it underperformed and disappointed.
So it was in fact tying up a lot of resources.
Activision "lost" Bungie, but won High Moon and Vicarious Vinsons (back).
Just watch High Moon and VV do absolutely nothing but Call of Duty updates and maps like Raven who are doomed.
SpyroWhat "own IPs"?
Outside of Blizzard, what do they have other than COD and Crash at this point?

Yeah wow, one game. Apart from that they are a CoD DLC factory.
I give credit when credit is do but..they fucked up twice. Didn't they learn anything from Destiny 1? If you fuck up one game at launch, fix it, and then fuck up the 2nd you need to re-evaluate your company hard. You give credit when credit is do. Most games that start out bad just stay bad and are dumpstered. They turned things around. FF Realm Reborn did the same thing so did No Man's Sky. They fixed the game and made it good. I think they have already got criticism when it was in a bad place so continuing to do that even after it's better is senseless.
I'm curious about which games will actually meet expectations.
thats every thread, breh
How happy would you be, if you let's say had a 401k and the value never went up? Better yet you invest in the market and your money never increases?I wish more companies would be happy with just making enough to provide everyone with a comfortable living.
Destiny 2, right now as you can go to a store and buy it, is the best loot shooter on the market. By a VERY wide margin. P.S. this will still be a true statement after Anthem and Division 2 are out.

You know they're missing the Guitar Hero or DJ Hero plastic-ware stuff
Then sell the songs on top, piecemeal at a time
That was then, this is now. Every quarter is a new ball game.
yetHe probably means High Moon and Vicarious Visions who are in fact not being sacked.
Why would you spend so much time on something that disappointed you?
I guess the expectations were it would become the next Tony Hawks or a guitar Hero or COD or Skylanders.

Like it or not, why would anyone invest in a company that doesn't meet expectations when they can invest in another company that will?
Sometimes, I wonder if people forget that video games companies exist to make profit and are legally required to increase shareholder value.
