Arguments over the brexit approach the cabinet decided on over the weekend.
We're reaching the point at which the unicorn of Brexit is starting to look inescapably like a donkey with a turd for a horn, and no one wants to have to say it still looks pretty.
The Civil Service are saying we are now approaching the "kinetic phase" of the car crash. The UK is not anymore/less fucked than before, Brexit is impossible because it is based on fantasy.

Doesn't seem fair that the biggest proponents of Brexit should be able to jump ship without seeing it through!
Last week, May made a move to not go for the hardest of brexits. Boris and Davis ostensibly agreed to the decisions the party had made at the time.
Ha, I wish. The resignations are because someone dared look at the brakes pedal as the bus was careening towards the Brexit cliff edge.
The british government recently signaled that they were willing to pursue a softer Brexit (one that doesn't completely break free from an economic arrangement, and one that doesn't disrupt the irish border). Davis and Johnson were hard brexiteers.
I mean Boris having less power is a win for us all, but he'll be back.
It's pretty likely BoJo is doing this because he thinks he can make a bid for Leadership and the PM's spot. So he's not out of the Brexit picture.

Yes. We supposedly have a department for exiting the EU. They weren't in the news much because they (Davis especially) spent the last two years doing nothing.
In your opinion, does a softer brexit go against the spirit of what voters voted on in the referendum - or may they not care too much about the hard vs. soft approach?
