Player engagement for BG3, huh.

Well at least we can see results for it, lol. Too bad it doesn't get included for sales rankings.

So Xbox is selling less than PS5 and Switch for the year? Also Star Ocean top 20? Glad it's on the chart lol

This new Top Played titles thing is fun. Goes to show how far of jump the freebie/subscription based games releases do. Look at Alien Fireteam on PS, went from 714 to 11th lol. I am guilty of playing that with my friends haha.

Spider-Man 2 has such a strong hold being #2 a month later and not even counting copies sold in the bundles

Double digit decline in hardware doesn't seem good. Switch must've carried a lot last year.

I guess we are not going to get YOY percentages for hardware seperatley?

Would have been able to figure out the sales based on last years leak.

With those % drops it looks like PS5 might not be able to hit 25 million units this FY.

Ragnarok 15th is quite impressive tbh.. I wonder if it'll go even higher thanks to the DLC in December

Yeah. There's still the holiday period but that's a steep drop during BF. They're probably gonna go super aggressive this Christmas with slim bundles.

COD still going strong despite reviews, at this point why do outlets even bother review it.

Starfield might actually end up remaining in the top 10 best selling games for the year, which is a crazy feat for a Game Pass game.

It's important to note that it is hardware spending that declined 24%. PS5 and Xbox had more discounts this year compared to 2022 iirc.

crazy seeing Dead Island 2 higher in the year to date then FFXIV... but then again it's multi platform vs. one platform so makes a bit of sense.

The juggernaut that is Call of Duty always surprises me, despite logically knowing how strong it is. I remember a decade ago when people were speculating about CoD fatigue and predicting when its sales would start to drop off.

Wow Superstars is doing pretty great for the holiday season it seems, after it already charting pretty well at launch. That's awesome. Despite the game's faults I love it and am super psyched to see it succeed.

I might be wrong, but it's not units, it's this:

Right, there were a ton of discounts even before Black Friday.

Consoles were as low as 30% off so a double digit decline in dollars seems fitting
