Performance issues aside, I would worry about game-breaking bugs or losing progress many hours into the game. That would really suck.

For good reason, because you had to go through every... single... patch... one by one. And it took forever to install them.

I don't think that's the patch - isn't that what happens when you run the PS4 disc version of a game on PS5 - it has to download the PS5 specific version?
is it just me or is CE the way to go if you want a chance of receiving it early?
