I don't understand.
What's to criticize for having free content (ergo dlc) post launch?
I don't understand.
Nice its cool too see all these early people enjoying the game.Yes I do. Perfect timing Sony. Easter holidays, no work, all gaming.
i didn't mean similar in content, just a paid dlc expansion priced around 20 dollars.
Or maybe they're delivering a feature-complete, massive 30 hour open world game with 3 difficulty modes right out of the box, and are actually adding content to the game. Have you read any impressions that imply the game isn't feature-complete and that these additions are actually clearly core content that was cut from the game? This is smart marketing in today's times. People love to hear the word free regardless if content should have been there right away.
Haha that title should be for ot2. Freaker Friday for ot3When even a thread about free goddamn DLC gets shit on...
Days Gone: This Forum Comes for You
Because it should be in the game already . The future content that has not been created/approved should be in the game day 1 no matter how complete the game is , no matter that the post launch support is free. Cause thats how game development works, right? We should shit on devs that support their games and give free stuff for FREEI don't understand.

Why should it have been here at launch? The game that is released already takes 60+ hours to 100%This is smart marketing in today's times. People love to hear the word free regardless if content should have been there right away.
Nothing wrong with this FREE dlc later on. Everyone who's giving the devs and the game shit for doing so is just looking for something to be mad at.
Zelda team didn't handle that well, will give them a pass considering it's their first ever DLC for Zelda and the the value of the expansion pass was great but yeah that sucked. To be fair, wasn't the new difficulty for Breath of the Wild behind a DLC paywall?
huh?
I didn't know that the game was getting a stream of content. Thus, GaaS.

Nah, I see GaaS games as anything with content coming after release, like leaderboards etc. Anything to make a games lifespan longer. Most games are GaaS nowadays. I thought this was like God Of War, a one time deal.Isnt GaaS when they charge you for endgame/ steady streamed content? This DLC and I think anything outside of new story missions are free. GaaS are games like Destiny, Anthem, Fortnite, Division etc

That's not how any of this works at all lol.So? They can add everything they are working on with a patch like what are they doing now with corrective patch 1.02 or 1.03.
I'm not talking about the new mission, i'm talking about the survival mode.
i don't like all game doing this (but i buy them in the end)
i want my solo to have zero anti practice attempting to kill second hand market with content you can suspect could be there day one in less greedy world.

They are choosing to make performance patches priority, which is always the right thing to do just like Santa Monica had to choose delay photomode to focus on performance.would rather have this in the game at release, especially the survival difficulty...
Oh my god you are so so so wrong! And yes, GaaS is not derogatory, but it isn't such a broad blanket term as you are making it out to be.Nah, I see GaaS games as anything with content coming after release, like leaderboards etc. Anything to make a games lifespan longer. Spiderman, Assassins Creed, Forza games etc. etc are GaaS
Its not a negative term, like most of era likes to use it.
