Mobility and recovery feel different too.The difference between 5 and 10 resilience is 9 HP. You're super sensitive.
Cooldowns for skills also feel different.

Hey guys, is it worth grinding the normal Nightfall for the Strike-exclusive loot? I see people doing it on LFG sites but I'm not sure if the drop rate is too low to bother.
Yup, normal will take around 12-15 minutes while prestige will be around 8-10 minutes a run.
Just know that a wipe sends you back to orbit.Oh shit, you mean doing Prestige with the easiest possible card? Never even thought about that.
Does it drop more with cards that are more difficult?
That is only true if the modifier Extinguish is turned on. Extinguish and Match can be good negative modifiers to turn on for higher scores (not speed runs - where getting it done quick is the goal, not the score). Just make sure the entire team does not die at the same time, and every member of the fireteam needs a different energy weapon to deal with the matching shields (only the correct element will take down a shield).
People are baffled at how I'm always out of glimmer and the reason why is I keep building sets!
Warlock (my main):
I think I'll grab screenshots of all of these sets tonight to share! \o/
- Fighting Lion comp with Sanguine (7,0,7 w/ 2 arc rift mods & 2 arc melee mods)
Nope.Im pretttty sure I know the answer but I'll ask anyway...
There's no item or way to just... skip the story for a secondary character right? I've already done this fucking campaign twice times on ps4 and I've since moved onto PC (looks nicer, runs nicer, all my friends are off destiny) and I've been plodding through as a Titan this time and am about 3/4 done.
But I don't like the titan. At all. I wanna hop back to Hunter but man... doing it... for the fourth time just isn't what I wanna do. With D1 there was a item Bungie gave out with TTK right?

IIRC there was an item that auto leveled you, yes. I *think* they've said there will be a way to just jump in with Forsaken but if they did it was in one of dozens of interviews and I can't recall specifically.
Edit: For clarification, the item ath auto leveled you was in TTK.

They said there will similar item when Forsaken out.

Controversial Opinion time :
I like Destiny 2 subclass system, I like that each path offers unique gimmick/playstyle. Striker top tree is about zone control/AoE, bottom tree is about unlimited thunderpunching. Voidwalker top tree is about void explosion, bottom tree is about survivability. Dawnblade top tree is about aerial combat, bottom tree is about Super, etc. Though some subclass like Stormcaller or Sentinel feels too similar between the two path and there are several boring nodes.
The problem is they don't have any further customization option after you pick a path, it would be better (I think) if each of 4 nodes in a path offers multiple option you can pick. Take Phoenix Divefrom Dawnblade top tree for example, you can choose wether non-Super Phoenix Dive heals you or do damaging explosion. Or for Sunbreakers top tree, you can pick between ember explosion or the ability to shoulder charge as the Super secondary effect. Or for Striker bottom tree, you can choose wether melee kill heals you, or recharge your Super. Basically kinda a mix of D2 and D1 subclass system.

The Spark of Light (or something very similar) in some form will return with Forsaken.
- Once you hit max LL (with mods) on a character, every package you get from a vendor at that point should drop at max LL (without mods). I feel that as you've done the work to get to max LL, you shouldn't have to do milestones to level up all the other gear you want (or wait for unspecified times when vendors drop at max LL -- which is still a baffling design decision). It doesn't cheapen the grind, especially as they have made the grind longer. Plus, you would still need to put mods into them to get true max LL.
You need to complete it to get access to EP.That only boosted your level or something, right? Didn't affect story progression.
I'm kinda wondering is it necessary to do Warmind campaign on alts? Are you locked out of anything for not completing campaign? Using them to grind daily challenges on faction rally already got both to like 350 ish and level 29-30 without even trying. I'm guessing levelling would go extremely quickly from there.
Oh well I'm about to put the game away anyway.
So thinking about coming back to the game but I sold it so i'll need to pick it up again. Any good deals on the PS4 version with the season pass?
My hype for the new supers took a big hit when I realized they'll be tied to new subclass trees, meaning I won't get to use melting point with my big Hammer of Sol, or arc souls for my rifts while using my Warlock arc laser.
This system suuuuucks.

Probably cheaper to buy the game by itself for 9 dollars and then grab the season pass for 20-30.So thinking about coming back to the game but I sold it so i'll need to pick it up again. Any good deals on the PS4 version with the season pass?
I don't think she has sold a single Warmind shader yet at least since I've been checking for the Buffer Overflow one over the last five weeks or so.
I'm excited, yet dreading it in some ways. I'm glad to go back to FWC (the best faction based off of lore), but I know by Sunday morning I'll be grumpy going back to the EDZ for another round of heroic public events and a lost sector with the Crimson (I'm not a huge fan of using the same gun over and over). I'll be switching over to Suros Regime, but its recovery doesn't happen often enough for how poor of a player I am. This time I'm going to use the armor (if I can get it to drop) to shorten my quest for the Sunshot catalyst. I have some relief knowing the fine folks of Gold ERA Warriors will help me out if I ask.
Podcasts and body are ready. I could se the distraction. Feeling really down right now.
The EP SMG is GODLY in PVP - don't sleep on it. I am not looking forward to faction rally; it's very stressful to get 50 in one week.

If you have reasons to still do the weekly Milestones on three characters that will net you around 450 faction tokens but then, yes, it becomes a bit grindy with the incredibly mundane PEs followed by a Lost Sector...rinse and repeat.
I did both Xbox (Sunshot) and PC (Graviton Lance) last time but I'm probably only going to bother with completing the Sunshot this time on PC. I honestly forgot about Faction Rally coming back this week, far too soon as it will become a super boring "event" again with it being the exact same thing.
I haven't used it much in PvP but I might for my new fun build.
So realistically how long does an efficient grind to faction level 50 take? I missed th last rally.
I was four days late to the last rally but I still managed to pull out a rank 50. Takes around 6-7 hours of doing the Lost Sector grind on Titan (+doing the daily on all three characters). So realistically how long does an efficient grind to faction level 50 take? I missed th last rally.
Faction Rally is a pretty bad grind, imo. I'm not looking forward to getting to 50 again. I think it would help a lot if regular activities offered more tokens and it didn't just descend into grinding PE's and Lost Sectors for hours.
