Spent like 90 minutes trying to get my pawn knowledge on Gran Soren to 3 stars but still stuck at 2. Wondering if I have to get into the duke's demesne first.
Edit: Eh, screw it. This is way too frustrating for literally no reward.

You can adjust your pawn's rate of speech with the knowledge chair. The question is something like "I like to talk or stay silent as the situation demands. Should I continue?" Yes = talk more, No = talk less. Doesn't help with hired pawns though :(I forgot how much the pawns love to gas. Had to return one to the rift because he was non-stop chatting, haha.
I got one from Jetoaster. Framae blades too. He or she has the touch. Thank you :)Just giving a shout out to whoever gifted my pawn (pandora) a lvl 3 unpurified weapon.
After around 6 hours of daimon farming I'd all but given up hope of getting the framae blades for my assassin but after purifying around 20 items and getting shafted the gifted one was the one that finally dropped them.

Atleast you have people taking your pawn out. No one wants my pawn :'(That feeling when you hop on the game, see that your pawn has come back from 3 people...and you got 1300 crystals T_T

No clue where this list resides, I know I posted my pawn somewhere here. My pawn is around level 150.Is yours on the pawn list? I think you're a bit farther in the actual game than I, but if our levels are close I'd bring yours.
Yeah, I tend to pursue 100% for games I really like.
And pawn update: Mage, level 200. Celestia, with Grand Anodyne, Grand Frigor, Holy Pact, High Halidom, High Brontide, and High Comestion. Utilitarian/Mitigator.
Anyone perhaps hurting for RC or maybe want to have items, feel free to add me through PSN LaughingBanana, I'll help however I can. Cheers.
I used Melek a bunch when she was a warrior, one of my favorite pawns. I eventually way out leveled her though and wound up having to juggle pawns around. Looking forward to bringing her with me again.

Thank you!I'll help you out there.
Am I right in thinking to destroy the Drake' s wings, you can't actually climb on them. Hitting them with a bow is the best way?
If your friend searches for pawn via PSN name they should be able to find it.My pawn doesn't seem to be available for people to use online. A friend tried to use him but couldn't find him listed anywhere, even when filtering by pawns belonging to friends. He's also never been rented out by anyone, his Review tab shows blanks for each area and I've never had a notification to say he's gone anywhere. He's set to be freely available under options so I don't know why he wouldn't show up?
People were saying magic archer fun was right all along... It's really so fun!
Also night time in this game, just perfect.
Edit: Also why OT is not only Dragon Dogma? I'm playing on PC, should i go different thread?
lol, sorry man. Try giving the Arisen's Bond to someone else before the "final battle" quest to make sure you don't get... herVenting about Reynard's quest:WEW, AM I MAD ABOUT THAT "REWARD". I wanted to romance him and have him settle down in Cassardis so he's easier to find. Nope! Apparently completing his quest just deletes him from the game, who thought that was a good idea!? If I have a repeat of PS3 DD and end up with Symone in the end cutscene again I am gonna be super unhappy.

That happens to a lot of the NPCs (they leave forever at the end of their quest lines).Venting about Reynard's quest:WEW, AM I MAD ABOUT THAT "REWARD". Anyone you can talk to can be your beloved. When I saw the pink sparkly cloud around her head this playthrough I was wondering if she could be your beloved. That's just disturbing.
Wait wait, what? Also wish I knew you could buy stuff directly into storage like 300 hours and 2 releases ago.
There is an item you can give to a character to greatly lower their affinity towards you. Give her that?Venting about Reynard's quest:WEW, AM I MAD ABOUT THAT "REWARD". Haah, yeah, makes buying those 600 blast arrows and periapts a little easier.
That is so obvious that I don't know how I missed it.Oh, tab over to the far right "Item Storage" tab and start adding items from there, then checkout.
Wow I didn't realize that, just noticed that you can give presents to just about any NPC too. That's pretty surprising.
It's both one of the most impressive and yet most haphazardly included mechanics in any game I've ever played (that I really liked). Dynamic relationship ratings with dozens upon dozens of NPCs with their own schedule and likes/dislikes on top of everything else in the game. Just tweaking a few things about it would have made the implementation sooooo much better. But no, suddenly your character is risking their life and the fate of the realm on a character who's name you might not even remember (and don't see again til they have already moved in.)
Its a shame we might never see what they could have expanded on for a sequel, although that goes for several of the games mechanics.
Personally, I think the next step would have been to add in different kinds levels of relationships that had more immediate effects on your world (for a simple example, making friends with a merchant might give you discounts on their products while hurting ties with a competitor, leading to refusal of sale), as well as expanding the amount of ways to build/hurt your relationships outside of just giving gifts and escort quests (Helping out mutual friends, accomplishing goals that indirectly help others, more in depth quests, etc.)
Wait wait, what? This is just like when I discovered you can just push the Option (or equivalent) button to dump an entire category of items into storage (such as all materials)... which I discovered last month on the PS4, after playing this game since 2013.
My Gamestop guy at the time was trying to sell me so hard on this game. I purchased Skyrim a week or two prior, and he was like I like DD much better. I looked at the back of the box like, "I'll pass."
I've recentlty watched some PC videos on it, and softened up on my original stance. I just got my X1X and need to get some games for it. What are some of the strengths and weaknesses for someone who loved Skyrim?
Hmmm, doesn't sound bad at all. Seems like it's an arcade style rpg.Compared to skyrim?
Strengths:
-combat is much much better
Weaknesses:
-almost every other aspect you would look for in an RPG
It has a much heavier focus on action and moment to moment gameplay versus the deep character building and ability to "tell your own story" that the Elder Scrolls would offer. If a deep story and world building takes priority here, than no amount of improved combat will make up for the gap between the two.
Dragons Dogma offers some unique ideas that might catch your eye, but combat is the name of the game.
