Unfortunately no.Can we change the location of the analog sticks? I refuse to go back to symmetric design
Still blaming you for writing DualSense as Dualsense 🤦🏽♂️
Why should they?
Probably to more closely compete with Xbox's Elite which comes with one too.Why include a carrying case? That's the last "feature" I thought would be part of something like this and only adds unnecessarily to the price. Everything else though is solid.
We knew it was coming.Whoa this was out of no where. I was just looking and almost pulled the trigger on an additional controller. Going to wait for pricing and grab this if the price is right.
If the back buttons just duplicate existing buttons, what a waste.
Hopefully we won't have to wait too long.Blog post is finally up. No price or launch timing yet.
Introducing the DualSense Edge wireless controller, the ultra-customizable controller for PlayStation 5
First look at the DualSense Edge wireless controller with customizable controls, changeable stick caps, back buttons, and more.blog.playstation.com
It shouldn't affect devs, right? Since it's a user customizable button and not a new button that devs have to account for.The paddles are labelled LB and RB.
That creates a nightmare in Design docs for multiplatform games as LB and RB are the bumpers on Xbox (and I assume the paddles on the DS Edge are mirrors of another input anyway). Joy!! 😂
Looks cool though, always wanted a high end PS official controller.

Neva!!!!
There's two sets of back buttons, so 4 totallove the addition of function keys that allow you to adjust software-related things. So good
Disappointed that there's at best two back paddles though. I wanted some function to move ALL face buttons to the back
How else would they do it?If the back buttons just duplicate existing buttons, what a waste.
There's not much else they can do since these buttons aren't standard. If the back buttons just duplicate existing buttons, what a waste.
I really want to know if it is any smaller. Would make it an auto buy for me.I doubt this thing is smaller than the current Dualsense which is already on the large side. My hands are a bit small and I would love a controller with all the Dualsense features the size of the DS4.

Make a Steam Input style configurator where you can map them to whatever combination of stuff you want (rather than just one button) and also expose them to games to be able to map them to additional actions too.
