Nothing but love for my man Huber <3
Maybe Huber just doesn't realise how bad the faces are in Shenmue 3.
Lmao I was hoping someone replied with this
That montage is amazing. Shouldnt there be a thread about this in Videogames?
Woah woah woah
EZA Best E3 Coverage indeed.
And will reach even greater heights when everything is put on Podcast services...please...call the feed EZA Events or something and have it for other events throughout the year
Woah woah woah
I love EZA as much as the next guy but don't take away from your food budget lol
LmaoooWe need to get myfatdad to fund Mikey Jr's next trip to the IHOP.
Oh gotcha. Yeah that's better then. But do indulge from time to time if your heart so desiresLol, thanks guys.
Don't worry. Its fast food garbage, like Mcdonalds and crap like that. I should start making my own coffee and breakfast in the morning. I should have clarified, haha.
They need better cameras to properly capture Huber's energy while he is attacking people at the E3 floor with pure hype beams and shouts.
Ehhhh.........
A thread pretty much saying "hey, eza needs more money" probably wouldn't go down to well.
Maybe a thread when they go live announcing the huge live stream would be ok. Let people discover the fundraiser on their own?
When Giantbomb did their big annual fundraisers they had their own threads, so I don't see why not.

Giant bomb have a free that's called giant bomb presents that they use for interviews and other weird shit. Eza could use a secondary feed as well of they are worried about clogging people's feeds with content but they really shouldn't be worried about that. I would consume way more of there E3 coverage if I could listen to it in audio form.
Next.Level.EquipmentSorry everyone but... uh...why do they need a fundraiser for their equipment?
They get more than $40.000 a month. They are 9 allies. I don't know how this stuff gets taxed but let's say they get $3000 after taxes or something for their part time job (afaik noone of them works fulltime at EZA), then there would be a considerable amount monthly to fund this stuff on their own?
Don't get me wrong, they can earn as much as they want, but I have zero clue why a fundraiser is needed.

Ok? So $5000 a month or so isn't enough for better equipment? Hiring somebody who is good handling said equipment would be the better investment anyway.
No they are not. No, $3000+ for a part time job isn't really low. Again, I don't care how much they earn, but they don't need fundraisers.Fundraisers are necessary in their position. 40k is really low for their size.
I love the video ad gimmicks and Ian editing. Not sure if a dancing zebra will attract more money. It's one of them damn memes?
I considered taxes and fees. Without those everyone of them would get $4400 a month. I just went with $3000 instead. Again, none of them are there full time. They have more than that. That's not including all of their taxes, fees that Patreon takes, maintenance, Jones' mortgage so they have somewhere to shoot, etc. Even then, 3k per month per ally is a really, really meager amount of money.

You're wrong. The only one where it's not a part time job is Don. Everyone else this patreon is their primary source of income. This isn't some side hobby for them and the content they've provided is almost at the level they were when all of them were full time. So doing one time surges on equipment so It doesn't come out of their take home money is not an unreasonable ask.Ok? So $9000 a month or so isn't enough for better equipment? Hiring somebody who is good handling said equipment would be the better investment anyway.

I like Jones but he would have to pay his mortgage one or the other way privately. The fact they are filming there adds nothing to their expenses.
I want to live in a world where $3000 for a part time job is a meager amount of money. Can you invite me to that fairyland?
That's another thing though, why don't they just tell us now. Ian said under a random youtube comment they will tell people on the day of streaming or maybe one day before that. Some people are confused why the need the money, so explaining what for now what would be the smart thing to do no?No idea how much but I know that Patreon takes a big chunk off. Also, dont forget taxes, they work legally so all their income has to be declared, thats another chunk off.
The thing is, the fundraiser is not for their usual equipment. Its for extra stuff to make E3 better. For now we dont know what that means... what if they need money cause they wanna have a live E3 booth or something. Thats easily 20k or something. I honestly dont think its gonna br something that cool & crazy but what i mean is, we dont know yet what they will ask for

I look forward to their E3 coverage either way, it's just that this is a bit fishy to me. I don't like that feeling in regards to EZA. :/
I never was one of the people that said they need to grow. I mean obviously that would be nice for them, just saying I never stated that. You're wrong. We spend weeks on this thread asking EZA to grow and now we got people showing up saying they don't need fundraising? How do you think these things grow? Fundraising campaigns is part of that
As stated earlier it would've been wiser of them to just say what they plan now instead of doing that meme video.Luckily, we'll find out on stream just what kind of crazy equipment they're gunning for to make E3 coverage expert tier.
It's also a good opportunity for some Patreon growth via fundraising streams (as it's been suggested by the community) before they unveil the new Patreon stuff during THAT stream.

Last I heard, Jones, Ben and Damiani all work full time at EZA, while Blood and Huber basically work full time. Though that was a while ago and things might've changed since then, cause it sure seems like Brad's doing a lot of reviews and Kyle's putting a LOT of time into Box Peek. They also live in a very expensive city and the Patreon has dropped a couple thousand dollars over the last few months.Sorry everyone but... uh...why do they need a fundraiser for their equipment?

Sure. I just think 40k (yeah, yeah taxes and fees), + sponsoring + merch would be enough. But we will see what they actually want to buy with the fundraiser (which is timed badly.)It's not fishy at all, you need more income to grow a business.
Ok then. Going to sleep now. Have fun.Last I heard, Jones, Ben and Damiani all work full time at EZA, while Blood and Huber basically work full time. I always hated when the thread on the old forums got into its armchair accounting mode, so can we please not do that? I don't think it should surprise anyone that buying expensive new equipment might need more money than they have budgeted out right now.
Brandon, Ben, and Damiani are officially full time. We don't exactly have a breakdown of how they all spend their time but I'm willing to bet at least Blood and Kyle put in close to if not more than full time hours. Thinking this is fishy or unreasonable is ridiculous.Sorry everyone but... uh...why do they need a fundraiser for their equipment?

Yes, by going against GoW. People who will get this digitally sure as hell won't watch the EZA stream as soon this drops. How exactly? By going against God of War?
I'm not sure I follow, because it'd be around the same start time if it was any other day of the week.

Some timezones don't work well with the game release and EZA stream at all.
People are too picky about this. On tuesday they have cup of jones and group stream on Tuesday where they will be working until atleast midnight (there time) between doing the stream, recording the podcast and probably finalizing plans for Thursday.Yes, by going against GoW. I don't see the problem as it will be on youtube later. I don't buy/play GoW, but I will not watch the stream live either (maybe a small part, but probably not), but most likely during the following weekend. I don't see a problem with that.Yes, by going against GoW. People who will get this digitally sure as hell won't watch the EZA stream as soon this drops.

There was also a moment when it said "BEEFIER STUFF BEEFORE E3 - STILL MOOIN' AL". Love little things like that =)Hidden message!

They're in LA. This has benefits (easier access to industry events!). And its negatives (cost of living is terribad).Sure. I just think 40k (yeah, yeah taxes and fees), + sponsoring + merch would be enough. But we will see what they actually want to buy with the fundraiser (which is timed badly.)

Ian answered it in the comment sectionLong shot, but anyone know what that track is called for the e3 stuff video? I love it.
