You could do that on the old mobile site....just had to enable it in Preferences.
Not that it matters that much anymore, but you could that too on the previous site :p
I mean it's a great feature, but that was available before you know. You could change what the arrow on GAF mobile did; open thread, last page or first unread. Same with clicking the GAF logo on the normal site. ResetEra just has first unread as the default for the main thread title link.

Seriously? I was constantly switching between mobile and desktop view and drove me round the bend.
Yeah, had to go to preferences or something, and it made the little arrow to go into a thread function as a "go to last unread post" thing.

Now "paging <insert username>" in a thread or after a post regarding a topic that a certain forumite might be interested in is no longer just an empty phrase!
You can actually alert people about stuff they might want to see or talk about.
I literally just found that out myself.
I always hated the fact I had to chose between either going straight to the first unread post or the last page in our old home.
The fact I can do both easily is magical.
Now I just need quick go to the he top of the page on mobile and a refresh button at the bottom of the page and I'm set.
Still massively impressed with all the cool features, didn't realise what was possible for forums until now lol.

Hey, same here. After all the 'news' broke I caught wind of this place and had to join after browsing a bit. Let's just say that it was needed and it's about time.

They had that option in the old forum, you just had to change it in preferences.
