Listen Reinsdorf was an ass, but you can't fault him for that. They don't ask players to renegotiate if they suck and don't play up to it. If this was now, they wouldn't even be allowed to talk contract renegotiation, not sure how the CBA was then
If you want to fault him for not agreeing to a big deal with pip during the last yr of the contract, then I get it
