Brazil didn't do anything in the first half and had terrible attack - Neymar and Jesus were awful.
Again, this is quarterfinals against Belgium, a team that almost went out against Japan and won because of a shitty goalkeeper. Our team played bad. Watch France steamroll Belgium next match.
Hazard was better though. But yeah De Bruyne was a lot better in his usual role.

And who's problem is that? Not ours since we won. Belgium had a plan in the second and clearly pulled back and relied on the counter. A little bit too much perhaps, but our organisation was pretty solid and we had an amazing GK. Plan perfectly executed.

I guess it's to be expected a European-based WC to morph into the Euro Cup in the final phase. No non-European (ie. South American) team has ever won the WC in Europe.

This World Cup is in Europe, 1-2 hours time zone difference from where all these players are playing. This excuse is ridiculous.
