The VA / translations still seems really poor, but it was somehow nostalgic for me.
Excited, but kind of on the fence whether to buy on launch day, or wait later and see if there will be PS5 improvements / a PS5 version.

It'll be like the One X Enhanced games, download a patch and it'll look better, as PS5 will be backwards compatible with PS4. I'm expecting majority of games next year to be that way honestly.

This shot is REALLY impressive for a real time cutscene. Super pretty visuals.Cloud is stunned and so am I.

I dunno, but when I saw him I felt a pang of abject terror that instantly transported me back to the time I played Crisis Core.

Christ I'm trying to keep my hype in check because I have been burned by Squenix before (I''m one of those who just couldn't stand XV), but this looks better and better every time they show it off.
In the compilation it shows some wutai groups exists in the shadows after the war ended.
I can see artifacts...pretty sure they are all in engine cutscenes. And they are incredible. The graphics in this game are seriously impressive.
Yeah I am pretty sure that is the date night thing from Golden Saucer, the only other thing I can think of is it's at Wall Market when she gets dressed to go into Don's mansion and they just have fireworks going off in the background.
Edit: Watching it again it's definitely Don's mansion as you can see the door behind Cloud.
My guess is he's just a new boss with a bit of backstory that's meant to relate a bit to Zack and Cloud. I doubt he'll be major or take up a ton of screentime.
I'm not even that crazy about the original FF7, but everything they've shown of this has been fantastic.
The soundtrack...the way they used the instruments sounded very FF12 near the beginning of the trailer...maybe the use of trumpets? dunno.

Honestly, I think this might be a case of unfinished/lower quality models. Meaning, because her chest has no actual physics to it, you may get the occasional shot where they look like they're defying gravity. You see this a lot in other games, a good example being Vanille in FFXIII.
The majority of shots shown have more than proven they're being careful with the proportions here. As much as 4chan wants to believe she's smuggling massive balloons underneath the sports bra, it's clear at this point Square wants to focus on the character's best traits....such as being fit.
That said, they are obviously saving the shot of her in a dress for a later trailer. Ditto the other one.

I dont recall there being Fireworks in that part of the game, but who knows what they are going to do with the remake.
It would be a huge surprise if from all the info and trailers we have seen, they keep suggesting that its based strictly in Midgard, but on release goes way past that. Im hoping they are holding that info close to their chest and will surprise us all.

One thing I really am dying to know is whether the English subtitles are only for the English version (dub), or whether it follows the seemingly more elaborate Japanese dialogue when you choose Japanese audio. I really want to play the Japanese version, but it would suck super hard if it still had the same dialogue as the English one.
If anyone proficient in Japanese has a chance to try both, please be a hero and check and also maybe ask Square-Enix to support both!
