Is it really describing a Xbox handheld or just a handlheld gaming PC that can play Gamepass / xCloud?
Looks like official images and not just generic mockup of the long rumoured Xbox Cloud streaming box and a surprise Xbox handheld.
Thought it deserved its own thread.
Found a bigger/better pic of it off Google Search, this one?
Where is all this info coming from? Woke up tonsee the front page littered with Phils secrets lol.
Massive yikers! I feel dirty reading all this lol. A handheld MS device could be really cool as a bit plus of my Steam Deck is getting to play MS games...still not convinced those are official and not just potential concepts that maybe have had some RnD go into them.
Is it the FTC? Someone at the ActiBlizz OT said it was someone at MS who fucked up
lol I saw someone using that image to headline an article about the leaks, so I thought it was new/the same one in the OP, my badThe one in the original picture looks different. Black D-Pad, more glossy, other button allignment in the middle.
Referring to Series S 1TB and the 'to be announced' Series X 2TB digital-only.
The handheld isn't the goal. The market leading position is the 2030 goal.I don't think you're reading this slide properly. Handheld is a 2030 goal, but is not in scope for 2023.

That's what I mean. The goal is to lead the market by 2030. To do that they commit to penetrating the handheld market, but they're saying they won't do it with their own device (i.e. they'll support the Ally etc., hence turning up at their launch)Yes. I agree. But handheld is not in scope for 2023. It's a gap.
If it's definitively not happening, it won't be on the slide.
I feel like there were reports that the cloud streaming box was scrapped? Handheld is very interesting to me though.

I think it means it's not a goal for first party as they are focused in supporting third party handheld PC like the deck or Asus ROG.I don't think you're reading this slide properly. Handheld is a 2030 goal, but is not in scope for 2023.
Exactly.I think it means it's not a goal for first party as they are focused in supporting third party handheld PC like the deck or Asus ROG.
