I was blocked as well, never had contact with him as far as I know. To be honest as a representative of his games its a childish and unprofessional way to act. I still enjoy Platinum-made games though, why not? Also playing through Okami on the Switch right now. Wanted to send him a pic of the physical Switch-edition of Okami I imported just cause I love the game, but couldn't do that... oh well.
As for the man himself, as far as I know him (that is, from stuff like Twitter - I don't know him in real life of course) he's a manchild. I don't know him at all of course, this is just the vibe he's giving me thanks to his social media use. Blocking everyone and everything just because, feels like creating your own echo chamber. Life is full of different opinions, why not be a bit more open about them? Again, I don't know him in real life and I like his games, but only based on his behaviour in Twitter, I don't have a high opinion on him. I don't care that I myself am blocked, I just find the way he acts on the platform eyeroll inducing. Comes off as holier-than-thou.
Edit: I see the discussion has become a bit broader. My two cents: I also play games from publishers or developers who's ethics I don't agree with. At least, there's a chance I'll play them. I don't know all the ethics behind all the companies and I don't really care. I'm playing the game for the game. Same thing with movies, music.
