I'm still kinda salty that MHA S3's first episode will be a bit delayed for the dub. At least Episode 2 will come out on the same day as the subbed version.
More-or-less, though Funimation's service has access to more English dubs (& Funimation has some of the best dubs in the anime industry).
That's awesome given their strong relationship with Crunchyroll let's hope that's not far behind! I need my anime fix and .....
and........!
watching anime on the go is perfect for the Switch
Yes. It's one of the top two. It has better exclusives for dubs like Dragon Ball dub and One piece.
Yup, said partnership includes Funimation includes doing the dub for various anime found on Crunchyroll on their service while CR gets the subbed version (though there are instances where Funimation gets both subbed & dubbed versions of the anime in question, like My Hero Academia & Dragon Ball Super). It's like Crunchyroll but only with Funimation licensed anime (which Crunchyroll has got a good chunk of now after the recent parternship)
Pretty sure that first episode is just a recap anyway.I'm still kinda salty that MHA S3's first episode will be a bit delayed for the dub. At least Episode 2 will come out on the same day as the subbed version.

Who would have guess Switch would get Hulu and Funimation before Netflix?

Given Funimation & Crunchyroll's partnership, I'd imagine that CR won't be too far behind in terms of getting their app on the Switch.Your move Crunchyroll.
The ironic thing is that Funimation is now wholly owned by Sony. And freaking Netflix and YouTube, like come on.
Hopefully VRV won't be too far behind once Crunchyroll gets on the Switch. That's awesome, hoping for VRV though so I have it all in one app.

FunimationNow is America only too lmaoVRV is an America-only thing right now, so putting them all in one would lock out a lot of customers (unless they keep the standalone apps too?).
Dragon Ball Super's dub gets added to FunimationNow every 13 episodes that get aired on Toonami.Perfect. Now just hurry up and put the rest of the DB Super dub on there.
Really? The most recent batch was definitely less than 39 eps.Dragon Ball Super's dub gets added to FunimationNow every 39 episodes that get aired on Toonami.
Oh, I meant 13. I saw 39 on the article & got mixed up.Really? The most recent batch was definitely less than 39 eps.
