It took until post 73 but I knew it would be here somewhere.
"You can either battle monsters for items/money or experience points but not both" has got to be one of the worst mechanics of any RPG. It does nothing but double the length of grinding. I don't know what they were thinking with that.Imma keep bringing this up whenever this type of topic comes up because it hurt me so bad, but:
This. But at least I was able to trade it back to Gamestop for more than I initially paid for it.I bought arms and I dislike the fighting genre.
This game should not be sold full price, it is so lean in content and gameplay I could not believe 90$CAN just went to the trash.
Its a 2012 mobile game that looks like it was blown up to fit on a TV.
This piece of shit:
I LOVED Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness and I blind bought it day-one thinking it was going to have at least some RPG elements to it.
What do I get? A BATTLE SIMULATOR WITH LITERALLY ZERO CONTENT BEYOND 3D BATTLES... THAT COULD BE COMPLETED IN LIKE 12 HOURS.
A far cry from the awesome GameCube Pokemon RPGs, utterly devoid of substance or effort, and a complete and utter waste of $50.
I'm still furious about it 11 years later.
I forgot about this game.
I paid $60 for Section 8 on release week. There's a reason no ones heard of this game

Shoulda went with Battlefield RevolutionBattlefront 2. A couple friends and I got it recently during the sale, and HOLY SHIT is it awful.
Ni no Kuni 2
I can't think of another game that disappointed me so much that quickly.
And
FF Type 0 , one of the most boring games i ever played
I don't think the idea is inherently terrible, they just had terrible execution. Persona 5 used a similar concept with the demon negotiation and it worked out great."You can either battle monsters for items/money or experience points but not both" has got to be one of the worst mechanics of any RPG. It does nothing but double the length of grinding. I don't know what they were thinking with that.
Oh that's probably the least offensive thing about that game lol"You can either battle monsters for items/money or experience points but not both" has got to be one of the worst mechanics of any RPG. It does nothing but double the length of grinding. I don't know what they were thinking with that.
I'm glad my misfortune entertained you lol!Man this thread was worth it for this story.
My pick's Resistance 2. I realized pretty early in that something was seriously wrong here, what a dud of a campaign compared to the original.
